A lot of commentary over the length of time the Washington-LA game is taking. Talking about how a pitcher takes up to 30 seconds to pitch. Have to say I agree. Have always said there should be a clock

Umpires are free to warn pitcher and start calling balls---the rules are there, they choice not to enforce them.

Really, the bigger issue to me (especially in the American League) is the use of 45 relief pitchers the last 3 innings.

Now having said that, I am all for Tito doing exactly that tonight.

That game basically encapsulated the Giants' season. Just couldn't get the final 3 outs.

They'll back up the truck for one (or more) of Chapman, Jansen and Melancon in the offseason, you'd think.

The Cubs are filling me with so much pride right now. Incredibly resilient effort in the 9th. So happy this isn't going to a 5th. A) That would be gut wrenching. B) One less Game in our season I have to listen to John Smoltz.

Must say, the Giants sure can find them. Gillaspie turned into Ty Cobb and Matt Moore Cy Young.
