Braves Winkler fractures elbow on a pitch. Has already had Tommy John and id say he has done damage to that ligament as well. Looks like a lot of pain, just goes to show the force these guys are putting through their arms

Just on the braves, have led 4 or their 5 games going into the 7th and lost all 5 games. Been some really ugly defense and poor batting/pitching. Not a good recipe for the rest of the season

I felt bad for Winkler when he went down. Not something you want to see happen and not after missing any entire year last year. Inciarte has gone to the 15 day DL.

Does that count the 2 today?

Yes, the 2 allowed over his last 22 starts are the 2 he gave up today. :)

Is anyone having issues with the MLBTV cutting back to the beginning of the game every time time it goes to commercial, it is driving me insane.

It hasn't done that to me but the broadcasts will sometimes repeat the same commentary twice. I will get say
midway through a commercial (like the George Lopez one) and then the commercial will suddenly finish only to repeat the same commercial again from the beginning. Yesterday I was watching the Cubs on my TV in my room and went to go inside the kitchen to make myself a coffee so I put the game on my iPad's app only to discover that the game was already in the next half inning to what was on the TV. That's because of all the skips in the broadcast. Best thing is exit the broadcast and go back into it when it does it on commercials. Or maybe try to watch games on a different device if you can.

Unfortunately, customer service is useless. I sent them an email the other day asking why the single team packages was removed from their site (before I was told on here) and their reply to me was to tell me the day I subscribed to MLB.TV and when my subscription expires. Um, okay.

How many teams am I allowed to follow? I like the Yankees but I hate that Yankees hats are worn by people who mostly have no idea they are a baseball team. I need to support another team just so I can wear a different hat

Yeah, get an NL team as well :p

It's good enough for Alice Cooper!

I cant see the Angels seeing any time in first this year. Bad contracts are killing us , our farm is the worst in the MLB. Watching Trout and Calhoun in the outfield and now Simmons at shortstop is fun though and CJ comes off the books this year thank god

Of all the reasons not to support a team o_O

I think it's a great reason! But I'm not keen on the Yankees, except World Series 2001, they were ok then
:D I usually pick my teams by the successful ones when I start following. Though how that explains White Sox I don't know

I agree with you on that, when I see someone wearing a yankee hat, 99% wouldn't know a thing about baseball

I'll definitely stick with the Yankees but it does annoy me. I follow the Yankees because it is the only team I have ever been to watch - they played the Red Sox at Yankee stadium and it was brilliant. I guess I could have chosen the Red Sox as well (and they have an awesome hat - I love baseball hats) but I loved New York. I have about 6 Yankees hats and not one person has ever stopped to talk baseball with me (not that I know that much but I am learning).

I also have one Cubs hat that I bought from a nike outlet for $5 when I was over there. I wore it to golf once and immediately the assistant pro asked me if I supported the Cubs. I would have worn a Yankees hat 100 times before and nothing and then the first time I wear a Cubs hat someone asks me about baseball

Reds with some shocking pitching to let Cubs back into game thanks to a Russell 3 run homer in the 8th. Man i want to go to Wrigley Field

Cincinnati are an evil organisation who purposely lose matches against other clubs so they are at they're best when they play Pittsburgh. :(

I've always followed the A's, since the Bash Brother days back in the late 80's.
The last couple of years I've started following the Dodgers as well, probably my 2nd team. Started to watch some Dodger videos on YouTube listening to Vin Scully commentate.
There's also particular players I like to follow as well, Yasiel Puig, Mike Trout, Ian Kinsler, Paul Goldschmidt, Zack Greinke, Josh Hamilton and Josh Donaldson are some of them.
As far as caps go, I've got almost all the MLB teams in the New Era 3930's, and quite a few 5950 low crown fitted hats as well. Just because you follow a particular team doesn't mean you're limited to just wearing their cap.

I love the low crowns. My wife positively hates the traditional 5950's
