Yeah, but who knows?

The biggest issue is that we don't know where Mora stands, as they haven't really provided us with much information. At least if he had another operation, we could have some hope but the problem at the moment is unknown.

Why would he have another op if he doesn't need one.Surely not needing one is a good sign.

If you can't train or play for a whole season its a bad sign.

Its almost like the doctors have told him the knee won't hold up/ hope for the best that it recovers.

I like this guy as a wingman with occasional spurts in the middle.

Move hilly back to the half back and rotate with mundy

Bennell just floats forward of centre

Walters same

Ballas deep

Sorted.

We do know what it was, it was bone bruising which is a known complication of ACL surgery. Treatment is complete rest to allow it to settle down, which he did and it did. He is now back training strongly and hasn't been delisted. I'm glass half-fulling this but this is way better than anyone expected back in June so I'm running with it.

The club isn't going to delist him, they would let him announce his retirement.

I still think its a 50/50 whether he plays on, probably the discussions are still occurring.

If he does leave the game that would be a massive amount of players to pick up in 1 season. With possibly our first two round picks gone for McCarthy and Bennell and a supposing weak Draft.
It is a bit of concern where we're going to get good enough players from to fill the void of all the middling to fair to meh players we've just turfed. There's no point replacing average players with more average players. Hopefully we've got some state-league gems lined up.

I'd hope so because like I said a lot of players and even if they gave identified talent who may go late in the Draft there is a good chance so have other clubs.

Freo won't join the Draft until late 3rd round. I font expect many decent players being picked up this national draft.

May have been a good opportunity to upgrade Ballard.

May be but we probably couldn't guarantee him game time. He's behind a lot of players in a pretty good midfield that, if things go to plan, will only get better.

True but we may be looking at late Draft picks to fill our list and I doubt would be as good as Ballard.

As for Morra I just hope he is feeling fresh and ready for next season.

Mora doesn't bring a skillset to the table;he owns the skillset that built the friggen thing.
Archetypal modern player in that he is the definition of flexibility.Could play forward, mid or back.
The Emperor is safe.
The club's brains trust is backing its current structures and gameplan and wants better cattle to execute the plan.

We could be looking at taller players.

Or he may have asked to be delisted because he has another opportunity lined up.
If he has currency then we should have used him to acquire a player, even it it is just a rookie swap for Mason Shaw.

Hopefully we can make some more changes to the best 22 in that case.

If those guys can become the depth players then we'll be sitting a bit better.
I really hope Ross change regarding replace off form season player eg suban with young bloke blakely. Hope t
2016 season I will change from doubter to believer he change.

Kid is just too much of a talent to not give it another shot. Hard/harsh to say but id rather he come back and do his knee again then being de-listed to wonder what if
