Not sure - did you remember to ring the nursing home and see if he was available? Last heard he was amidst a seven-week game of strip bingo...Will Richard_Cranium be let out of his cage for the coaches award?
Sounds a lot like my experience with Matera92 in VegasNot sure - did you remember to ring the nursing home and see if he was available? Last heard he was amidst a seven-week game of strip bingo...
What a match thread. 93 pages and 2,312 posts. If you like canned processed meat, camel jokes and seedy innuendo this is one to revisit. Antonio BlueVein and Callums_Guns traded blows, typing their hands to stumps in the process.
From my point of view, this post from DemonJim may well have been the highlight…
Similarly to the first encounter we had with the Bombers, the game was entertaining and close. We led by 16 points at three quarter time thanks to some quality but inaccurate work in front of goals from Tarks and myself.
Despite hitting the post more times than someone who hits posts for a living, we held on for a 9-point win, which turned out to be exactly equal to the number of extra scoring shots we had. lanky_wes stepped up with a BOG performance, and was ably supported by DemonJim, brucetiki and Quivorir.
Let us never, ever refer to this match ever again

Ah finals. The smell of the grass is always fresher at this time of year – it’s when our club does its best work.
A match thread with the Furies is always an experience – it’s like bantering with a pissed off echidna that smells like a decomposing water vole. As usual, the match thread got a little weird at certain points…
… but it was an enjoyable week with Wacky Tiger , TJASTA , Ned_Flanders and team.
Of course we were relying on our recent history of making the Furies our bitches, so you can imaging our surprise when the SIM made this a close and troublesome battle. We held a slender lead for most of the match, although the Furies never stopped pushing us – our lead was 9 points at quarter time, 2 points at half time and we trailed by 4 points at three quarter time.
sausageroll was having a belter of a match, while brucetiki ran amok. After JackBero goaled in the 20th minute, we trailed by 7 points and things looked grim. But a behind to Callums_Guns , a goal to Yakker and an inspired buzzer beater from brucetiki stole back the lead and helped us advance to our third prelim in a row.
