Found all the Nolan batman's so so. I wanted to like them more than I ever did.
Don't hate them. Happy to watch them. But anyone who uses the word masterpiece to describe any of these flicks is going way overbosrd imho.

I saw the new Blade Runner a couple of weeks ago. Didn't particularly like it, nor the first one.
Didnt like the one with bane in it, thought it was overlong and boring.
The Dark Knight is without peer IMO.

I don't know why the Dark knight is so revered. The Jack Nicholson joker >>>> the Heath Ledger joker for me...
That's cool. No recriminations. Taste is personal.
On a rewatch I just find myself yearning for the 13 mins of Heath Ledger and yawning through the rest of the 2+ hrs when he's offscreen.

Yeah, it really didn't stand up to the other films for me either. I think it might have aged poorly too, because more recent productions that mine the same era have done it much better (I'm thinking specifically of Boardwalk Empire).
EVERYONE thinks that. I just don't know why I don't!

Dunkirk that came out this year. It got good reviews from everywhere but to me there was no story & no characters to follow throughout the entirety of the movie

Ive seen 3? of the Transformers movie. All bad.
The first 2 "new" Star Wars sucked and havent seen any of the others.
Every single Bond movie is brilliant.
Ive seen 1 Fast and Furious mvie and it was awful. Will not watch any of the others.
I cant stand any of the comic book movies. Well. Almost all. Original Superman was great. Original X Men was great. And the Batman and Robin TV show was great.
