Seats at ground level are like ground level seats at Subi but slightly elevated.
Seats in the stands are the things Subi had intimate thoughts about.

I've sat in the absolute worst seats in all of Adelaide oval.
Very back row. The biggest stand in the place behind the Southern goals and they were still as good as anything in the top level of Etihad.
Add the atmosphere, full strength beers, ease of toilet and food purchases, ease of transport in and out, the room ohhhh the room...
You get the point.

We changed from SW corner ground block up into SW corner 500 block, middle. Would rather not sit in the rain and have to watch the big screens when the ball was on the other side of the ground...pretty disappointed about the whole move, we were close to Subi and had great seats, now we gotta travel for sh1tter seats.

We were allocated block 512, eastern end, but swapped today to block 529. I sat in the 3 tier stand for 23 seasons at subi, and really got used to the overall view of the ground, and the height. Also we had the aisle seat, so made sure we got that again. I've sat ground level for Finals, and just didn't like the fact I couldn't really tell what was going on at the other end of the ground, so for me, I always wanted the higher seats. I would've been keen on one the 300 blocks at the Western end, but they were completely full, so settled for the "cheap" seats.

Pretty happy overall, and look forward to the first game, should be a massive day!!

It was harder to see the other side at Subi from ground level due to the slope from the middle of the ground to the boundary, which doesn't exist at PS and PS front level is 1.5m above the ground level.
This is why I was very keen for ground level seats! Atmosphere always better too!

Good block that :thumbsu:

Sat at ground level pocket for 28 years at Subi, surprised so many are keen to sit at ground level. Whatever floats ya boat I guess but I jumped at the chance to move up and take the cheaper price.

But it' in adelaide...

Yeah after 17 years of ground level on the 50m line I was happy for some elevation. Should be on the centre square line. Just above the away team coaches box i think.

Top tier I think will be more like the 2nd tier eastern end at subi as for distance from ground. So not too bad really.

Added bonus of our seat 100% being undercover from rain. Unless you are in the back rows of the bottom tier underneath the stand I think you will be getting wet.

Now that thats sorted I am hanging out for the 1 day tickets to go on sale. Excited for that as much as the footy. 55k cricket crowd... going to go off.

I dont think thats true about the majority of the ground level getting wet, the roof comes out a long way. Its stated that 85% is protected and this stadium is the best in Aus for this. 9000 seats...50 GL blocks....180 per block...first 8-10 rows.

My Window opened this morning and I didn't even wait for it. There was nothing left to move to so renewed with what they gave me.
523 row 3.
Not terrible but thought a member as long as I would of been given a better chance to find a better seat. But thats just the Eagles and I have paid my sponsorship for the next season and we move on.

Still seems to be a lot of $1685 seats left, are they think the In the wings members will grab them? Or have they over priced them?

You guys don't seem to get the process .... as other people move, seats open up. It's fluid

There's a good chance that you may not have found better seats - but you had nothing to lose by checking every day to see what had changed.

There wouldn't have been any harm delaying the decision to see if better seats free up.

I had 6 in my group which means it was hard to find anywhere to move to.
Anyway, onwards and upwards.
I'm looking now and even with 4 it's virtually impossible

I had 7 & thought we had no chance but managed to get significantly better seats.

I sort of think that the club might have held back a few seats around the stadium that they occasionally release to ensure some movement occurs.
