Thats the point though, they want cost savings by having to have less security/ police in hand by serving midstrength

I would argue that they may need more security on hand with midstrength, as people will drink more and quicker pre game either at crown or camfield, knowing that they can only obtain midstrength at the footy. Doesn't this create drunk and disorderly more, rather than drinking 3/4 full strength beers over the length of the game.
Obviously could be arguments on either side, but if it's manageable with 100k at the G...c'mon

They could just hand out fines to those that kicked out. Will curb the behaviour and we get full strength

And cancel some memberships for a year or two if they persist with wrecking things for the majority.

I get that the beer chat is hugely important - but can anyone provide an update on seat availability in blocks 344, 345 and 346?

Cheers.:drunk::)

Club 87 - go you big spender ! :)

Re Beer - where are the actual Boxes ? My understanding was there werent any or as many as at Subi

Edit: are they the Landing, Premiership Lounge, Club 92, Legends Club ?

Who can tell me how block 146 is numbered and how close seats 15-22 are to an aisle?

As far as I can tell, 22 is an aisle seat unless you're in row 22 or 23, which have 23 seats (thus seat 23 is the aisle seat). Only rows 17-21 have 22 seats. The ones forward of that have less.

Thanks ZM. I grabbed tickets for the first ODI so just wanted to check out some specifics. Managed to find a virtual map and do a seat count. Stoked with those seats!

My seat secure window opens Friday, and they open up the ability to preview seat allocations a few days before it would seem so I can check seat numbering anywhere in the stadium.

It seems obvious in hindsight but I didn't realise rows further back had more seats until I looked up yours :)

The two biggest things about the whole mid beer only decision IMO,
1 - No choice for the average/majority punter. If you like Pale/Draught/Dry/IPA/Lager etc, it doesn't matter you get this one mid-strength beer and that's it.
And the bid one,
2 - The majority of patrons will be the paying members who attend every week and look forward to having a good time. Those that drink will probably have 4-6 beers at the most because a-price and b-don't want to miss too much action by buying beer or going to the toilet.
Now the people with access to full strength beers are the VIP/BOX members who generally invite clients/customers/friends to a free day at the footy with all you can drink put on for them. These are the ones who will take advantage and get smashed.

Once again the Nanny state makes a decision based on what a few people think is a good thing when in actual fact it isn't.

just drink wine... if you are paying a premium for a stadium/event alcoholic drink, buy a wine as its normal strength I take it?

btw, im enjoying all these posts and pictures about where people are sitting - when i fly over for the suns home game in april I shall be well researched!
no idea when the suns will open the perth game for tickets

There will be multiple midstrength options in multiple styles.

From what I was told the venue Liquor Licence is approved for full strength. The venue management have opted not to offer full strength for GA. So the Nanny state thing probably doesn't apply so much.

One of the 8 in our group did, yes.

Oh well ... have to do something oak79 ... we don't drink or smoke (and no we're not religious either) so one tends to save a bit of cash that can be spent on the family having a terrific day (11 of them) out at the footy in Club 87.:D
