lol funnyWell I know he wasn't responsible for Morris and Rance falling arse over head every 5 seconds, so I'm happy to forgive him there.
Could he made a scrap after the first quarter instead of a shoot out?
Could he have implemented a few plans that help us score when Riewolt doesnt catch them.
I'm sure they must work on them during the week.
I do t know. Does anyone else want have a go?
So you have no answers then? Just as I thought.coaching after qtr time was ordinary- no plan bs at all. really dissapointing. It is a trend deserving of note. sheedy outcoached him. freo outcoached him. he needs someone else in there to bounce ideas of.
All 3 games you've mentioned Dimma being outcoached , we haven't had Foley in our side and have gone into the game with minimal midfield rotations.coaching after qtr time was ordinary- no plan bs at all. really dissapointing. Perhaps the best post of the night. No team that loses has a plan B, Both teams have their game plans to implement and whoever fulfills theirs consistently through the game will win. Richmond played a great 1st quarter BUT that was it. Where as Adelaide after qtr time played consistent footy, they cracked in for the ball winning contested possession, they kicked the ball into their 50m more effectively giving their forwards one on ones, and they took their opportunities in front of goal kicking straight. I'm positive that Hardwick didn't walk out at Qtr time and say "geez guys that was the best quarter of footy you have played all year, it should be enough to win so don't worry about the other 3qtrs" At the end of the day Adelaide have lost only 2 games including the pre season and they were to the flag favourites collingwood and hawthorn, they are a good side, there is no shame in losing to them at aami by 3 goals. We still have a long way to go but are on the right track
Think the coaches are doing a great job with this team. Just dont have the cattle yet.
A coach can only coach 22 players on a given game day , the fact King went down would have significantly effected the structures which where put into place , after all Connors is not as near as affective as King within Kings defensive forward role . I'd also suspect had King not gone down Connors would have been subbed for Elton who was consistently our marked by Rutten in the later part if the game . It's not coincidentally that our conversation from inside 50's decreased significantly when Kibg was subbed out of the game . Dimma was screwed over by the cattle he had to work with on game day and the selectors had little options due to the state of our list depth . The dropping of Batch and Conca I can handle as I don't think they have been playing well and needed a foot up the arse also the decision to drop them probably came down to a decision between Batch or Grimes and Conca or Connors .hardwick coached poorly:
1. bad selections
2. not closing the game out after qtr time- get the structures right
3. letting sloane and walker run beserk- close them down
4. contested footy- what were our structures?
5. millar- what were his instructions?
6. why were our blokes fallin over
coaching is full on- it is a nonstop parry of action and re action- for numerous times this year the wunderkid has been outcaoched and he needs and his team needs to take some blame
