I'm not sure if he was wearing the company tie when he 'got intimate' with this lady. But even if he was I don't believe he was representing his employer at any stage in the proceedings. Same as the GWS boys were not representing their club when doing silly stuff at a private party.
HR at every large-ish organisation I have ever worked for has been really clear that you can still be liable to the organisation for your behaviour away from official functions and this has undone colleagues of mine at unofficial after work piss ups. This is part of every anti-bullying, discrimination and harassment training I have ever done.

Your boss wouldn’t be identifiable as part of Company X at the strippers, and it sounds like nobody had any issue with his behaviour (and rightly so).

The GWS boys were clearly still representing the club as they were easily identified as a GWS group - sanctioned, or not.

My biggest issue is that thr AFL want the kudos for the domestic violence stuff but continue to allow the public be bombarded by gambling ads. Gambling being a leading cause of domestic violence.

It is shitty to be moralised to by an organisation that doesn't live the message.
Yeah, morals go out the door when there’s money involved. They exist off that gambling money.

Would you drink at a place where the CCTV footage is being watched the next day by staff? Unless there is a genuine reason for this like damage or theft it's absolutely not ok.
I would be wary of this rumour.

I suspect that was has happened is that a junior member of staff was upset and complained, and a manager has watched back the footage to back them in.

It makes no sense for someone who wasn’t there to get offended by watching grainy video without someone who was there already being pissy about it.

NO GWS players were kicked out for 'inappropriate behavior'

FYI, I have been in charge of Venues in the past through Cricket club & I have done EXACTLY that
You “have been in charge of Venues in the past through cricket club” - clarify this for me.

and in this role, you kicked people out for ‘inappropriate behaviour’ - such as?

This isn't completely true for "public figures". They are treated differently under the legal system in these types of matters. Additionally, they would almost definitely have "public morality" clauses in their contracts.

Shitty thing is the AFL picks and chooses the public morality thing.

No I told people behind the Bar, if you easily get offended, don't bother coming
Pretty simple to do

They weren't family events lol
