TIMELINE

Thursday 16 February:
Service revolver obtained for user pays event. Was stored at mother's as per regulations.

Sunday 19 February: User pays event.

Monday 20 February: The murders at Baird's Paddington rental.

Monday 19 February: Police have alleged gunshots were heard from a house in Paddington, Sydney in the morning. Four minutes after the first shots were fired there was a 000 call made from Jessie's phone around 9.45am, but it disconnected. Police said there was "no communication" during that call.

Monday evening: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon hired a white Hiace van from Sydney Airport.

Tuesday 20 February: Police have alleged that partial admissions were made by Lamarre-Condon to an acquaintance of having been involved in the death of two individuals.

Service revolver was returned to Balmain & later transferred to original storage.

Wednesday 21 February: Bloodied clothing belonging to both victims and an $8000 watch were found in a skip bin in the southern Sydney suburb of Cronulla. Police launch a missing persons investigation and the homicide unit is notified

Later same Wednesday: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon attended the Bungonia area with an acquaintance who police believed assisted him in purchasing an angle grinder and padlock from a local hardware store in that area, before driving to a rural property in Bungonia.

Police said the "small" angle grinder was used to sever a padlock from the gate of that particular rural property and then that padlock was replaced with a padlock purchased from the hardware store.

The acquaintance was left at the top of the property for 30 minutes. The accused disappeared for that period in the Hiace van, returning to pick up the acquaintance and then they returned to Sydney later that afternoon. Police said the acquaintance was assisting them in their inquiries, that she is not a suspect, and they believe she was an "innocent agent".

Wednesday 11pm: Police have said that evening, weights were purchased from a department store by the accused and it is believed that the accused returned to that rural property overnight and during that evening, having also acquired two torches from the acquaintance.

Thursday 22 February: Police have alleged they can place the accused leaving the Bungonia area again at 4.30am. "It would appear that the accused has remained in the city area, still in control of the white Hiace van, before attending a further acquaintance's premises in the Newcastle area and without fully disclosing any criminality, asked access to a hose to clean that van," Hudson said.

Friday 23 February: At 10.39am, Lamarre-Condon presents himself at Bondi Police Station where he was arrested and subsequently charged.

NSW Police Press conference still live.
It's been going for about 36 minutes and is now on Q&A with the Police Commissioner

EDIT: This video was able to be repeated in full after the Press Conference Finished, but sometime after that was then removed from YouTube public viewing for some reason.

EDIT: The full Vid is available at

and on the FB 10 News First Sydney page (10 hours ago)

Gunshots were heard 9:50am on the Monday morning.
And partial admissions made on the Tuesday to a friend of the accused.

'Gunshots were heard at the Sydney home of TV presenter Jesse Baird around the time he and boyfriend Luke Davies were allegedly murdered by a Sydney police officer.'

'He revealed neighbours in Brown St, Paddington have now reported hearing gunshots about 9.50am on February 19.
That had not been reported to police at the time.'

'Police allege one of its own, Beau Lamarre-Condon, made “partial admissions” to a friend about his involvement in the suspected shooting murders last Monday.'

Don’t understand why he doesn’t just tell the cops where the bodies are.

The first thing a lawyer will tell you when you're charged is to reply to all questions with No Comment. You can't be forced to answer anything or to incriminate yourself. If you actually didn't do it, the same applies. Some murderers have never given up the whereabouts of people they've killed.

Press conference an hour ago with NSW Deputy Commissioner. This is what he said: (Insert "allegedly" everywhere here) The perpetrator hired the van at Sydney airport and used it to transport the bodies. A woman went with him when he drove to a property near Goulburn. He bought an angle grinder and a padlock at a hardware store. At the property he used the angle grinder to cut a padlock on a gate. Then he left the woman at the gate and drove away for 30 mins. Came back, locked the gate with the new padlock and they drove back to Sydney. Later that night he went back to the property, alone. They don't know where he went for the next few hours. The next day he drove to Newcastle where he borrowed a hose from another person and cleaned out the van.

A 000 call was made from Jesse's phone around the time of the murders but was cut off quickly.

Shots were heard by neighbours but not reported.

Text messages sent from Jesse's phone saying he was moving to WA and for his friends to sell the house and put his stuff in storage.

Reporters had a lot of questions re storage and security of police firearms.

The woman mentioned above and the other acquaintance are fully cooperating. The woman didn't know about the bodies in the back of the van so who knows what tale he spun her. Seems to be very good at fantasising.

Also from the Press conference today.

- A breakin to 60 Brown St Paddington was allegedly reported to Bondi Police in Aug 2023. (journo questioned Hudson on this)
- And witnesses have come forward with claims that the accused had deleted contacts and messages from Jesse's phone at Jesse's home.
- There were no significant amounts of blood left at the crime scene when Police got there.

A few further points from the press conference.

I will add that the Senior detective said the 000 call was logged at 9.54. No one spoke and it disconnected quickly.

That the alledged murderer did not disclose to a number of acquaintences that he was a police officer (possibly also unknown to the female that went with him to Goulburn)

He did not buy the angle grinder (small) or new padlock the female acquaintance did at his behest.

The gap between 4.30 and 8.30pm is the time when he could have returned to the Goulburn property and shifted the bodies.

That the accused had accessed the property of where the murders took place a number of times prior to the murders. During one of those times he deleted messages and contact numbers from Jesse's phone.

That there had been a burgalry at the property in August 2023 that had been rep[orted to Bondi Police at the time.

That the scene had been cleaned up was the question. The answer was, there was no significant amount of blood at the scene but that through the forensic methods that have yet to be processed it is yet to be known how much blood or how much cleaning had happened.

Might the angle grinder have also been purchased to dismember bodies?

Or only to cut the existing lock on the private rural property (a property the accused was familiar with or new the owner of ... will track back to get exact quotes)

A series of questions were asked at the Press conference today about why it took nearly 24 hours to inform the families of the 2 (presumed) deceased that their items were found in the Cronulla bin.
And the senior detective thanked those of the press that didn't leak the information that it was a serving police officer that they were looking for in the first 24 hours as they had been asked not to.

Or only to cut the existing lock on the private rural property (a property the accused was familiar with or new the owner of ... will track back to get exact quotes)
That is why the reporter asked the size. It was small so that is a no I take it.

It would be so disgusting if he did that, but I don’t put it passed him. I think the answer to that will depend on how many weights he bought at the hardware shop the second time around.

The big mystery is that the Detective said the alledged murderer revealed to an acquaintance that he was involved in something on Tuesday night and they didn't report it to anyone.
Of the two acquaintances the detective refered to, one of them is a former serving officer.

The property was associated with a former acquaintance (possible ex boyfriend) and he had been there before.

So 2 people's bloodied items (with ID) are found in a Cronulla Skip, including a mobile phone, reported to police, and NSW Police don't immediately have access to the log of incoming 000 calls from the last 24 hours to match the number with the 000 call made over 24 hours earlier to 000 from Jesse's phone?

The latter (former serving officer) was likely his sister in Newcastle who seems to be where he borrowed a hose to clean the van. The former being the friend that drove to the property with him.
