Near the lower region of the ladder, depending on how many games the school boys play in. Losing to poor teams with an abscence of these players.

echuca beating mul, yeah was a fair big upset... but you cant really take anything off it as mul was missing 5 out of their 6 leadership group players, and the other coming off an injury, and their ruckman out, and their other ruckman playing seniors.... they were pretty down on players especially top age ones, so if as yu say, if jordan souter comes back tonny wins, imagine whats going to happen wen all of mul's top age players coming back.... think about that

i hope we play mul without all those players it would make life a lot easier. i think you will find all that stuff about jordan was written by people outside of our club having a laugh at our expense implying that we are a one man team

that is a really tough one last time we played them there were no real stand out players for toc so can't exactly choose one

I dont play for Tonny but follow them closely and think they are a real chance this year, espiaclly when Souter plays. I think they will be alot tougher this weekend after the bye and should win easy. Dont know there opposition if they are any good, but they should still win easy.

The game against rumba for us should be a good hard fought game with both sides in need of a win with both sides coming of disappointing losses. Hopefully we will be able to come home with the four much needed points but it will be a tough assignment as rumba, just going on results alone, seem to be travelling alright

ay i played u17's last year...
for what i saw of jordan souter...
he aint as good as ur all talking him up to be...
it was normally a big game between us n tonny...
and jordan hardly ever stood up...
he a quality player...
but yeah ur talkin him up a fair heap which is pretty wrong...
tom wyatt or whatever was a much better player,
even though they are completely different players...
so yeah jus my view but u r over-rating him a fair heap here...

umm yeah moved bak over the river to yarra in the o&m,
things changed with the family n new school n i couldnt go over to mul anymore
was hard cos mul is a good club.

Toc should go alright tomorrow, few blokes returning from Assumption which will help stem the tide against rumba tomorrow. These players will have an impact on the game but need support for there team to get over the line. Not sure if Xavier boys are coming home. Shouldnt be the worst game.

We (rumba) would have been 3-4 players short of our top/best side, but all of our top age players played. Toc definatly served it up to us but to our credit we managed to stick at it and came away with the for points

Good work then, will use boys be in finals contention this year?

We had a good hard fought win against Mul.. Pretty sure we played their top team with them only missing Jackson Cooper.. They applied great pressure to us for three quarters but then dropped off in the last and we ran away with it.. Will be good to see them come finals time!

What are peoples thoughts on Moama? Premiership favourites at this stage? What will thorpe and grigg do in finals as moama seniors look like they will go close to the grand final. any thoughts?

Yeah been in the ones and prob wont play much more 3rds footy for the year.


Dunno about moama depends on what team they put together, could be a real threat in the finals will just have to wait and see!

I'd say that mulwala are favourites for the flag. With doyle, rowe and cooper all playing they would be fair side. Having said that i think the top 6 is fairly even this year and any team that makes the finals could win it and moama have a genuine chance.

So you think Mul are doing alright? where they on the ladder at the moment? Yeah those 3 boys that were said earlyer cooper dolye and rowe are all really good players and i think they will be the difference between them winning the flag and not, they would be alot better if they still had there ruckman in charlie ross he was very good and was a really big lose to the team. How are Aiden Yellond and Sean Miller going this year? because they both good footballers? Also the Mul Coach is a pretty great coach knows alot about football and i would love to play under him

there is no way that you could say moama for the premiership we made a ten goal mockery off them and they had thorpe playing the full game and with grigg the only player missing. tongala has lost to them both times now but come finals will steam role them. if moama spent more time training than talking up supposedly awsome players like matt saxon ( who i carved up and im not even that good ) then maybe they wuldnt have lost to teams like us and finley. Although they mite beat good teams like tonny they will never beat us as we have a pure hate for them.
