Must win game v The Saints

which ones? from the last 7 years there hasnt been one that i went to thinking we had a chance. What was on the cards happened without any hiccup for them each and every time. ;)
It just seemed like everytime we are due to play the Saints people have given us a rough chance of causing an upset, because they were struggling, only for the game to end up as a lost opportunity. Take last year for example, in the 2 games we played we were given a rough chance both times, even though we were dead last on the ladder and yet just couldn't get the job done. Then in 05 we went into the first game with a 3-1 record and were expected to push them and got belted 147-79, then in the return match we were coming off of 2 successive wins and once more got pounded even though we were given a chance in that match as well.

Again it seems that there are a few people out there this week giving us a fair chance of beating the Saints. Here's hoping that history isn't going to repeat itself again.

The Saints copped a bake in the press before the Geelong came and came out firing ... for about a quarter and a half. Not sure what's wrong with them this year - they clearly have the cattle - but I just hope it lasts another week. If they play anything they have for the past few weeks and we do the same, we'll win.
Can't wait to see Milney try to take on Kingy.
If anyone's interested I have a Tiger blog at

this group is light years ahead of anything we have had in the last 10 years dude. Even with the wins we had in 2005 etc., i never thought we had much more than a mediocre list that had its pants pulled down and bent over, by the real "contenders" each and every time. ;)

I understand that this group is ahead of where we were back then, I just don't want to have my hopes dashed by another poor display when we are expected to take the next step. The last 3 weeks have been great and lifted the confidence, but as is the case with being a long suffering Richmond supporter, there is that little bit of doubt that still lingers in the back of the mind.

dont sweat it dude. Its what happens when you constantly look at the bright side and dont look at reality. Take it from someone that has been the opposite to you. I will be completely pissed off if we dont take the aints on Saturday. I expect 4 goal minimum win. If they dont produce then 4 changes next week mininum if TW is on the job. Its not about us having the abilty to win now, its about us having the ability to produce the ability to win, week in week out. ;)

the best way to asses this game is to have a look at saint v bullsogs.......
why you say !!!

we play a similar game to both hawthorn & bulldogs.
hawthorn are not as quick as the tigers but have bigger fowards
bulldogs are super quick & have smaller fowards apart from minson & welsh.

richmond are super quick like the dogs and a similar fowardline but the biggest bonus we have is RICHO.

richmond will run stkilda off their feet, we must constantly attack
dont worry about tagging just play a shoot out game.
thursty will get riewoldt
mguanne will get kosi
king will go to milne
moore will get the next best

im very confident our mids will win in the center. :)
