PORT Adelaide supporters will converge on The Parade this long weekend as their club prepares to call Norwood Oval home for two trial matches.

The club will take on the Redlegs in SANFL Academy and League trial games on Friday night before playing West Coast in the NAB Challenge on Sunday afternoon.

Entry to Friday night's games is free, while club members can scan their membership card at the gate to obtain free access to the NAB Challenge.

Don’t forget, you get free entry* into Sunday’s NAB Challenge match against the West Coast Eagles at Norwood Oval, simply by scanning your membership card at the gate.

It's the first chance you'll get to see the boys in action in 2015, with a strong line-up expected to be named on Thursday.

I was being a bit facetious...I actually meant for us, ie what will we make after everyone with their snouts in the trough (especially Norwood) gets their cut. I suspect we'll make nothing and that's how it should be, however we're going to be making money for a club that has tried to kneecap us at SANFL level and generally seems to resent our presence.

But yes, the council owned recreation grounds are typically provided on a peppercorn basis to SANFL and SACA tenants.
