I think about 20 times ive seen Pies players with the ball face a line of gFc players in a like a zone arrangement... the Pies player has just looped the ball over the top of said zone and the Pies are away...

That can't be good.

Yeah I take nothing from these matches. Often bottom placed teams perform best. Been a ripper nab match though

different scenario tonight as Geelong went into this game with the sole focus of not experimenting and taking it seriously.
We are missing both Selwood's and Bartel while you guys are missing upwards of six of your best players and that is the concern.

We still haven't addressed our contested possessions issues and that's where games are often won. Thankfully our clearances have improved thanks largely due to Smith and Dangerfield who have contributed 10 between them thus far.

Know it's not first NAB game back for the AFL but hope Dwayne finishes it with "Ohhh how good is it to have footy back?!"

kicked 27 goals & assisted 18 others. Only 23 years of age and you think he's shit?
Seriously, you need to stop telling others how wrong they are with their predictions and start focusing on your own garbage because Fasolo would be a walk up starter in our team but you and most of everyone else on this board seems to think the Geelong players are all champions, and top four certainties for that matter.

Haven't heard anyone say that. Most acknowledge strengths and weaknesses, but most also like to take some positives from the players and the GFC.

Some don't. Some prefer to be miserable and focus on the negative.

Again, the first part of your third sentence is the most apt.

Stanley with a ping!

and The GFC mids have turned up again....

Mond you.. Pies getting 21.5 is a bit rare too...

WEll played to them but rare....

It's turning into a pretty shyte night but it is all probably a blessing in disguise.

if we are to be any good, we know we have to work much harder, and it ain't just going to happen.

Plenty to think about though, positives appear to be Smith, probably Cockatoo, McCarthy, and certainly Paddy.

Not sure we saw anything from Henderson to inspire confidence (not sure we've seen anything for some years), sad news for Menagola who showed a bit, Cowan looked wanting, and somewhat worrying signs from Mackie and maybe Harry.

Maybe it all means nothing, probably does, but I do think it tells us something.
as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.
