Big Nat has not been that flash IMO. He looks lost half the time, but you CAN see what he could become, lots of raw ability there, can do some clever stuff but doesn't exactly have the 'footballer' feel about him just yet.

Rich has been the best from this game - he is tough, strong, chunky and clever. Head down, bum up in the backs and runs to all the right spots on the outside. Great kick as well - now HE has the word FOOTBALLER written all over him. Sam Mitchell type but I'd say a much cleaner version.

Stanton impressed me so far, likes to dance on the spot, but is slender and cat like in his movement and disposes very well.

Zarhakis or whatever the spelling also very good, hits the packs at speed and uses pretty well.

McKernan moves exactly like his older brother - can tell the genes are the same. Big strong loping sort, power mark.

Watts...well he can do anything, storng mark, bit slow tho at times and tries to do TOO much with the ball, lots of dancing, but there is plenty of class about him. Needs to bulk up and then could become quite dangerous up forward. Wouldn't put him as pick 1. But top 5 probably.

Rich and Hartlett the best two prospects from todays games alone and overall as well. Hartlett top 5 pick for me, Rich my #1.

draft order top 5:
1. Natunai (melb)
2. Rich (WCE)
3. Watts (Freo however i here he wants to stay in Victoria)
4. Hurley (Port)
5. Hartlett (Essendon u beauty)

I feel Hartlett has bomber written all over him. He shouldt be a top 3 pick however freo will and should be extremely interested by a fast moving midfielder. Port wont take him at 4 because they need talls and then essendon are next. Pretty much if freo pass on Hartlett we will get him (dons that is)

If Nat and Rich are gone, Freo will take Hartlett:)

Put Hartlett @ 3 mate. The only way i can see him slipping to you guys is if Melbourne take Watts. Very wishful thinking your order IMO.

Depending on the run home for West Coast & Melbourne, can either team still get the #1 pick?
If so:

1. Natanui (Melbourne)
2. Rich (West Coast)
3. Hartlett (Fremantle)
4. Watts (Port)
5. Hurley (Essendon)

Essendons till dont get Hartlett???
FWIW your top 5 is the same as mine.

Zarhakis 24 has been very impressive moves well great pace, and uses it well, one to watch in draft now may go between 10 to 15.

The ranga Blease 28 has showed a bit too looks a good outside player.

Hurley is a deadset star reminds me of Matthew Pavlich will be a AA and 250 game player. He is the best defender to be drafted in a long long time.

Been disappointed with WA using the flanks too much need to go through middle more.

Just spoken to Sydney recruiter again he loves Walters 17, if sydney dont trade away first pick they will grab Walters with there first pick I am certain.

Anyway thats enough from me im typing this on my mobile will probaly cost me a fortune.

Who would you rather out of that 5?

And where do people think Lewis Johnston (SA) is going to go, if at all?

My depth chart as a Fremantle supporter would be like this form those 5:
1. Rich
2. Hartlett
3. Naitnui

Natanui simply looks lazy just because he is a freak of nature. He does some things laconically like Daniel Motlop, but his jumping & pace is amazing.

Rich will clearly go top 3. Knows how to get it & knows what to do with it.

Banner can get it, but his disposal is iffy, if not terrible.

I liked the look of Clancee Pearce for WA. Looked like a really solid tall 3rd back.

Hurley looks a quality full back, while the 2 Vic wingmen could be great as a lower pick for a team looking for some pace (cough*Kangas*cough).

As a North supporter, given the choice of those top 5, I'd go:

1. Rich
2. Hartlett
3. Hurley
4. Watts
5. Natanui

Yer Banner has had a lot of it and works really really hard but to me he seems the wrong sort to be a good AFL player. Doesn't move the way good AFL players move and kicking can be down. But worth mid to late pick perhaps. Bryce Campbell like.

Scully has been very solid, really alert footballer, always looking and always running, clean and zippy bit Dal Santo like or Xavier Ellis like with his hands, but much better.

Hurley just been solid without being brilliant. Big lump of a lad tho, be a very good player.

Hill from WA also been alright - dead ringer in looks and playing style to Nathan Krakouer

But McKernan is the one I REALLY like, #### this bloke is going to be good. Has every tool just about to become a very strong forward in years to come. Been more impressive than Watts today.

whats the sydney scouts name??

i hear they love Jetta and Walters if they are both available it will be interesting to see who they take with they there 1st pick. I see Walters ahead of Jetta

How did Jordan Jones go playing for vic country? saw he was playing on Cornelius, Jones looked a bit lost at the start, then i had to go out. After todays preformance were does everyone think Cornelius will go? and if Jones gets drafted, where will he go?

This years draft looks almost like the superdraft and the top 40 look brillant i mean WA, VIC C, VIC M have so many good players in the whole teams or squads. TAS have a very good 4 or 5 but then they fall away a little. SA have some powerful forwards with heaps of talent Johnstone, Cahill, Schoemaker and even Hall looks good whilst Hartlett and Broadbent are good midfielders. NSW/ACT have over performed in the carnival and they have Klemke good midfielder, Edrickarama small forward/ onballer, S.Reed CHB/CHF, Keefe and some of the rucks will be looked at as they are massive and could be good late picks. Plus Trengrove, Swift and the likes arnt even playing and there top 15 picks.
