West coast interested, though preliminary

Great player, hope we can retain him for a few more years but don't think we can offer him the money he deserves, just don't have the cap space. Will really flourish under a new team. Especially at the feet of Darling and Kennedy, and his tackling pressure is very good, will definitely fit into their top 22 easily.

Agree DrMike. Nahas is crucial to our premiership chances in the next few years. Smart small forwards with great pace that kick over 30 goals don't grow on trees. It will be a real gut punch to the club if he goes but I hope the AFL reconises this and whisper in WC ear to make sure they compensate us accordingly. Surely a top second round draft pick or a handy player would not be out of the question ?

How many Brownlow votes has he had over the years? He's a gun.

Small forwards who get Brownlow votes show they're capable of elite performances. Robbie lost confidence this year but will star at WestCcoast. To go from rookie list to kicking 2 goals a game (plus elite defensive pressure and elite pace) over a few seasons make this guy worthwhile in trading for and putting your faith in. Believe in Nahas, and you'll get a good player in his prime.

His weakness is lacking confidence if you make him sub too many times. He's also not a super long kick for goal. Otherwise, he's capable of being one of the top 3 players on the ground on any given day.

1st rounder... Or nearest offer.

I feel a bit for him. We are unreal he put in pretty hard for us in some shit times and yeah there is no room for him now.
But we are red hot on turning on them lol. When it's the other way and a player wants out we call them all sorts.

Yep. I reckon he was playing for his AFL career in that game. I was a bit pissed, but I seem to remember him having a shot on goal and missing the lot. You could actually hear his career deflate.

Having said that, I'd rather see him play VFL at Punt Road than at Port Melbourne.
I remember they play. He also had our forwards one out against their opponents ie no flood back and he decided to take the shot. He out his own success before the team. That's why he is gone.

Where's this attitude thing come from? Was it the Carlton game where he looked disinterested as sub? Because he's not the only one, plus he hadn't yet been told to warm up, it could've simply been a mis-communication.
Or did I miss something through the year?

one of those inside tigerland things with Newman and Jackson, one of them had a talk to Nahas about how he dresses flashy with all his expensive gear, they asked to see the shoes, Nahas reply something to the effect of "I dont have an expensive pair at the moment because im not getting a game"

Think hes a bit of a sook. Dimma's model seems to be have a forward line of talls and resting mids and perhaps he feels nahas is to one dimentional. Was put in mid in VFL did well but as hes up against all our other A grade midfielders (plus jackson) hes not gonna get a game unless he overtakes our one true small forward in King and didn't happen last year

If he doesn't wanna wait it out till King slips out of the 22 then good riddance will leave a spot to bring back jarrad oakleigh-nicholls

What have you been smoking... Must have scrambled your brain. Nahas would not be top 22 in any side likely to make the top 8 and was good enough when Richmond was a team around 12th, however, is not good enough now.

Any team willing to part with a second round pick for this bloke needs to sack their recruiting department, for he is nothing more than a list clogger at a decent club. Take anything for this bloke or delist.

Nahas had a rough 2013. Got highlighted on the bench sulking in the vest by commentators and from that setback struggled to take strong VFL form into the AFL. Would happily trade him if a reasonable offer came up, but at the same time, would happily retain him for another year as depth.

Id rather give ganes to Arnot and McDonough ahead of him.
