I'm not so sure we should be making a play at an A-grade midfielder given that our extremely talented on-ball brigade potentially has several seasons left and in no way are we crying out for another midfielder. If we were a bottom eight/four side with an aging midfield I'd be hellbent on getting him over because I rate him as an elite young midfielder and then some, but IMO far too big of a chunk will be taken from our salary cap for a player who is largely not needed.

Josh Thomas would be good at Adelaide, I think Sanderson would like him. Goldsack would give them something they lost for Tippett.
