My simpleton view is that as a modern defender you are expected to take marks and rebound consistently. Kreuger being expected to do anything consistently is a cause of concern for me.

As a forward if he marks even half the balls which come his way he’s doing brilliantly, providing he’s also smashing guys in the process. I think that’s something he potentially can do.
He needs to add discipline to his game, and understand when to go/stay especially as a defender.
If he can do that, I think his athleticism makes gives him potential at both ends of the ground, but I’d like to see him trialed down back.

Do they still use electric shock therapy, maybe he just needs a short, sharp jolt to re program his brain so he doesn't destroy himself at every contest
They do still use it. More for depression though. It's use for bung shoulders and general physical brittleness would be highly experimental - I say we give it a go.

I'd bring him in just to catapult into May and injure him.

I reckon that's what would happen to Kreuger if we tried that haha

Gotta play him. He can ruck a little which means Billy goes down back where he belongs.

The best time to unleash Kreugs is last week.

The second best time is now.
Agree. I was really surprised we went with Johnson over Kreuger for last night's game.

Kreuger is excellent at providing an absolute war of a contest any time the ball is in his vicinity. The opposite of Johnson. AJ should never be asked to he a key forward again, his only chance is as a third tall.

Especially against Lever and May next week, we need Freddie to be able to stop them from taking marks in the backline and bring the ball to ground.
