Can you please explain how you can “get him as a DFA”, when he’s been offered a contract?

You do know the rules surrounding this, do you not?

there's no actual news story saying he's officially been offered one, just one story from a rumour twitter account saying he might, and another from 3 days ago saying he's "expected" to stay. Nothing even remotely close to official or credible saying that he's been offered anything. (from what I've been able to find, hence asking the question)

There’s talk that he has, but I haven’t seen an official announcement. Either way, he’s been offered a contract and can’t walk as a delisted free agent. Given he didn’t request a trade during the trade period when he had a contract offer on the table since August, I’d say it’s relatively safe to assume that he will be at Collingwood next year.

I think you’re over-reaching on Frampton.

But I’m all seriousness, he did a job on Andrew up to 3 qtr time. Andrews only had 9 touches and 1 contested mark. Obviously he got away in the last qtr. but if Billy had taken a couple of those easier marks which would likely have resulted in goals, he probably would have earned a lot more respect from the outside.

His efforts earned him a premiership. We appreciated it.

Do you really want him that bad? saying he is injury prone is an understatement. He finds ways to get injured that we won't see till the turn of the century. He's light years ahead of the comp in regards to inventing new ways to get injured, but if you really want him, we'll give you what's left of him because he's still has a couple of weeks to decide if he stays

If he refuses to sign then his only option is to go to the draft. If there was a club that was showing interest he’d have just asked for a trade, it’s not like the club would have stood in his way.

I'd try to re-sign Coyote. A lot to work with. Never gives up. Sure he takes some massive hits, but he gets up and keeps going. Bloody resilient.

2024 has to be the year he shows something- has a lot of ability for a big guy, let’s hope it’s not another bust!

He has actually been staying on the field recently which is a big step in the right direction,he has great pace fore a big fella and kicks the ball.He is competitive and tackles well he flies for his marks and I just wish he would start landing alright because I reckon he has big upside a proper key forward if he can stay on the field.

I worry that he'll be heavily exposed in 1v1 marking contests. Doesn't have the upper body strength or overhead ability to play on tall forwards.

He'd be great on the lead and rebounding the ball out
