That is screwed! I got 16 points, 4 rebounds on 8/9 shooting and I got drafted 15...

hehe, I only figured out how to shoot after the first quarter and a shot clock violation and a three in the key. I did set a ton of sweet screens though. Also it's worth showing maximum swag in interviews for teams you don't like. The guy sounds so insulted.

So far, I've found the best way to get crazy stats in MyCareer for the rookie game is to make a 3 point specialist because they tend to sag off you a bit and when you walk dribble towards the 3 line, you can suddenly use the turbo and create space for yourself.

Got drafted first by the Hornets on my 4th attempt but then I save reloaded from the 3rd quarter and tanked some of my team mate rating to get to the Kings

Is there a way to have auto plays on in MyPlayer/Career?

Or even call real plays other than the quick iso/post up?

i love them now took some time to warm to them but iso'ing with the new controls is sick you can breeze past defenders.

What's your best way of doing it?

I think flicking the right stick to the left then holding the left stick the opposite way while holding turbo unleases a viciosu launch crossover.

Finding i'm using a combination of both but if there is no real advantage in the latter then I think I might just stick with square

Couple of times i've accidentally jacked up half-court prayers with kyrie just because I was used to holding down L2

Use the stick trust me. You have so much more control over your shots and the type of shots you do. In the rookie showcase I didn't realise I was holding LT and I pressed the stick down and my PG jacked a shot from near half court with 10 seconds left in the quarter. It went in!

Yep use the X (Button)

Use the R stick for dribble move, X for shooting otherwise it becomes too confusing.

Have played 4 full games now and find Im able to string some good dribble moves together. still get into the situation where Im spamming the right and going nowhere, but I pull back with the left stick and either do another move or move the ball around.

I can call a timeout.... With my voice through Kinect. It may seem cheesy but it's pretty cool.

Restarted and using a 6'5 PG. I find the hop step and spin move into the pain freezes the D really well giving you an open layup or easy assist

Alot easier to get rebounds and assists this year I reckon, had a near triple double on my debut for the Heat!

All-round SF, 6"9, 230 lbs, two 'sleeve' tattoos, a dirty handlebar mo and my dude was ready for action.

Had 15/6/5/2/1/3 (Pts/Reb/Ass/Blk/Stl/TO) in Rookie Showcase and got interviewed by Nuggets, Pistons and Blazers. Told the Nuggets to get fugged and said I was interested in Pistons and Blazers. Ended up going pick 6 to Portland.

So apparently you needn't of pre ordered it to get All Star Weekend, because got me the code when I bought it at JB last night. Not that's a big thing though, played the guitar hero slam dunk contest, which is shizen.

Went 12/5/13/1/1/2 (on workhorse's above stat line) Terrible shooting though jacked up like 19.. Drafted 10th to Nola w/ AD & Austin (not sure how that one worked). Scrubbed it the first game against San An.

Still getting used to the stick. And I dislike the fact I can only earn VC online.

Just found a way to get VC if you can be bothered doing it.
Play next key game...let VC save over the sever. Quit game. Go back into it and you'll be back where you started. Rinse and repeat.
Don't think I'll do it...cbf. Why did they put play next key game before play next game, have accidentally done it a handful of times now

Bought the game today and just played the rookie showcase, got a 6'4 scoring point guard and got a nice stat line of 21 points, 10 assists, 1 reb and a steal

My strengths in the mock draft were - Scouts love enthusiasm and willingness to play for any team. Plays with a high level of intensity and passion

My weaknesses were - Doesn't appear interested when playing on-ball defense. Like many young players, often gets caught trying to do too much

Projected to go to the Blazers at pick 11

But ended up being drafted by the Pistons at pick 9

Horrible debut against the Rockets, lost by 20, came off the bench, scored 6 points, 4 assists, 4 turnovers (all in the first half) and 2 steals
