Game recap: Rondo and Rose arse shots for the 1st 3 quarters. Boston grab momentum in the 4th, Ben Gordon jerks it back Chicago's way with some ridiculous jumpshots. Last possession, Boston down 1, Pierce iso, Noah cannons into him. Pierce hits the first, chokes away the second.

In OT, Tyrus Thomas takes 3 rushed jumpers, makes them all. No-one else does much of anything, and Bulls win.

Oh, and Joakim Noah played a near-flawless defensive game. His defense is very reminiscent of a young 'Sheed.

Tremendous performance by Rose, he was pretty much unstoppable in the first half. Gordon stepped it up in the second half. Rondo was the only reason Celtics kept in close in the 2H.

oh and good work by Allen. A dismal 1-12 , 0-6 from 3's and bricked a good look at the buzzer in OT.

God damn it, last night I had Chicago in my multi before taking it out like a pussy.

Good win first up for them. Would be beautiful to see the Celts out in the first round but Pierce will pull them over the line.

Noah's foul was ridiculous but Pierce shot that second free throw like Chuck Hayes. Massive choke. And those Tyrus Thomas jumpers . . . well I just hope they don;t have to rely on him to hit those to win every game.

Well that sucked, but to be honest, it doesn't if we get bundled out in the first or 2nd rnd anyway, we were never going to win the title this year without KG ...

And the Bulls are an up and coming side, Rose is an deadset gun, would anyone honestly be terribly shocked if they 'bundled' the Celtics out in the first rnd ??

Jokim Noah - Fouling Paul Pierce seconds left at the end of regulation putting Pierce at the line to win the game
Paul Pierce - Choking his second free-throw that would've won the game for the Celtics
