He did treat his body like a temple, which explains his longevity and greatness.

Definitely a top 3 player of all time for sure.

Records are made to be broken, but his scoring record may not beat for a very long time
Seems close to unbreakable with how the NBA is played currently, IF it is ever going to get broken it won't be by someone currently playing.

Hali with another 16 assists and 9/15 from 3.

I reckon he's one of four guys in the league that, provided you surround him with adequate shooting, you're guaranteed a top-10 offence.

Steph, Joker, Doncic and Hali. There are obviously a lot of great scorers who make a big impact for their respective teams, but those four guys are bankable.

? If anything the game has never been easier to score in, and players are playing into their late 30s.

Not sure why you don't think Luka is a chance.

It's probably unlikely if Luka plays the rest of his career with Kyrie imo

load management is a big one but even Luka who is clearly the most likely is a long long way behind where he needs to be despite a great start to his career. Through 5 seasons Luka has scored only 9,100 points. Through 5 seasons LeBron had scored 10,689. Nearly a season of points ahead of Luka. Not updated to start this season but yeah it is a huge gap.

Lebron played atleast 70 games in 13 times in his first 15 seasons. Only seasons he didnt play 70 plus games were the 2011 lockout season and his first season back in Cleveland. Even then he played 69 games. Luka has only passed the 70 gp mark once in his first 5 seasons and that was his rookie year.

Luka is clearly the most likely of current players and yet he would be a sub 1% chance in my opinion.

I don't think it will be broken for a very long time we might not even be around to see it, unless some new rule changes come in and so forth.

But to even get to where Lebron is, is going to take the same amount that he has exerted or more and with the way Lebron is built he is a once in a lifetime athlete.

No one has ever done this at his age and continued to dominate games like he has.

With modern health and fitness methods, I am sure there will be someone.

Kareem was also very good playing at a high level in his late 30s

Players have to be the ultimate professional and take care of their bodies of they want to have long and successful careers like LeBron and Kareem
