Unfortunately for Illawarra without Lisch it's gonna be very hard to get a win in the jungle. It's a shame because I'd much rather Illawarra win the title over Perth or New Zealand

Shouldbe a close game Friday... u would think Perth but they have looked flat in patches recently.

I think Perth will sort out the Hawks this Friday but if they don't I would like to see the Gong win it.

If not it's NZ vs Perth for the 76th time. Breakers won't be able to beat them up like they did Melbourne, and home court should see them start favourites. If they can get their own internal intensity issues sorted Wildcats should come away with this.

Its the way these two coaches set up their team especially the illawarra coach. He did that in Perth and hes doing it with them.

Not as prevalent in the American coaches in the Nbl as the Aussies i think.

Not really, it's just less talent. Used to do it growing up here, you can force the offense to act with the possibility of a turnover or at least get their set off balance with guys coming to the ball carrier for a pass rather than let them dawdle up the court and run a set play.

In the nba there's a higher chance of getting blown past creating a numbers advantage for offense and most teams have the shooters to take full advantage of that.

Exactly, you can only do it if their ball handlers can be panicked into a turnover or at least hassled into a delay.

Happens at all levels too but you should be able to score against a full court press and put them back in their box.

Yep Wildcats Breakers... u got to think Perth because of HCA but Breakers are the only team that can win a final in Perth.

Will be a great series.

Should be a cracking gf series, cats favourite due to home court advantage, been a cracking year for Nbl.

I watched the semi final in game 2 and Hawks got some home town calls all night

Perth should get it done in 3 v breakers can't see breaker winning in Perth even though they have done that before
