As bad a year Labrador have had, Steven Daniels appointment is a massive positive for us going forward. Very good person and coach, the type players want to play for.

Hypothetical if Sharks were join new Neafl.. Would you rather your players mini drafted out to QAFL clubs or have them all play together in your Div 2 team..

Looks like the NEAFL restructure is part of a bigger plan by the AFL. Port and Crows have rejected SANFL/AFL proposal about reserves teams. Port wants its own reserves team in the SANFL without alignment to Port Magpies. Crows are considering fielding a team in the SA amateurs??? What's the lastest with the NEAFL? I don't have an "ear" in any of the clubs.

It's not as silly as it sounds.. It has definitely been mentioned that's for sure.

Don't think so. Remember state 18 games count as Games for club team in terms of finals qualification, etc - set up to give boys the opportunity to play finals if their teams make it without being disadvantaged by having been in state program half the season. I'm sure if the boys club team not in the finals they would be able to play for Suns or Lions no matter how many games played for them during the year. Might be different if their own club team playing in finals.

Clubs have first crack at the kids if picked in their senior team. If not they can play for Suns and lions. They cannot play for both during finals. No qualification required to play as top ups in finals.
Also re restructure, Afl and Aflq still to confirm QAFL salary cap. I am not a fan of Neafl then Under 18's. Make it a Under 20's

Great game at Dittmer Park. Have to feel for the Vultures.

1 point in at 1/4 time; 1 point in at half time and 1 point in it at 3/4 time!
Last Quarter - Vultures kick 1 goal 4 whilst Morningside kick 2 goals 3. Panthers by 4 points.

Bloody lucky to get away with the win leading into finals. Adam Eckermann clearly best on ground with 6 goals

Watched Vultures vs Panthers today... Panthers home by 4 points.
Vultures battled hard,credit to them . Panthers looked like they didn't get out of 3rd gear and possibly came to the ground with a very lax attitude, maybe thinking the game will be a breeze.

Is it still that anyone playing 3 games for Lions reserves is eligible for Finals. That means Simon Black and Brett Staker
At least those sides dropping back to the QAFL won't have to tolerate this crap from the AFL clubs any longer.
