No, not even close to the truth. Jules is happy living in Brissy. Fake news but everyone talking crap about it just makes things worse for the Neale's & Lions.

The paparazzi have been out the front of his house now since Sunday and he has cars following him every time he leave the house. I wouldn't blame them to want to get out of Brisbane now & I wouldn't blame The Lions for wanting to do some kind of deal if there is a sweet offer on the table.

I agree Mighty but the fact is this is of his own doing and he has the power to send them away by killing the story. The longer he now takes the more fuel he is throwing on the fire. As it sits right now, Lachie is compelled to speak when the club wants him to say something and not until then....thats how clubs operate these days with contracted players. From my point of view, its got nothing to do with him or his wife but they now are copping it which is crap & totally unfair. All this is doing now is making a trade more likely which the club & Lachie didnt want.

With Freo saying they have a strategy in place with the draft they can easily turn it into a win for their supporters if they get 14 back from us and they have to give up pick 6 & 8 (if they get pick 6 from Carlton) It will go something like this, "We gained a brownlow medalist and still managed to maintain a strong hand in the draft with pick 14 to add some more exciting youth to our list" etc.

I’m sorry but if the club and Lachie didn’t want a trade where has all this come from? I genuinely do believe you when you say they’re both happy in Brisbane but then what is the reason for all this coming out like it has. Like I’ve said before unless Lachie is traded for well unders I think the club will be in a good position next season either way and more than happy for Lachie to do what’s right by him and his family.

Who has it go to do with it if it is not Lachie? Can't blame the club for this. His management would have been under instructions from Lachie, perhaps you could argue it was poorly handled by them. If Freo has leaked and pushed to force a trade, you can't blame them. Why wouldn't they want to get a gun midfielder. For sure he may not have anticipated or wanted it going down like this but Lachie would have had to made the first move here.

Probably would want at least one KPP if we're using our first 2 picks next year on mids

Broadly speaking; get a pick of the tier 2 draft prospects, get an early pick at the next tier and get a slider or a more strategic pick still in the 3rd tier of prospects. Mostly based on Twomeys rankings

Erasmus, Goater and Wanganeen-Milera would be an amazing draft haul. I do like the idea of a KPP eg. Van Rooyen also but I'm a big fan of the mids who could be in our range on draft night.

Maybe hold our 2022 1st rounder and offer it up on draft night and take 4 in the draft if JVR is available.
