Why aren't the media commenting about this? Journalists normally jump at the chance to expose gross incompetence. They should be voicing the public concerns and putting some heat on to get the problem fixed.

Anthony Hudson ripped into it on radio two Fridays ago.

Because it really isnt that interesting.
If they think it is then they would talk about it.
Carro or Mike wouldnt want a bar of it.
Perhaps some shitty Sun writer could write something about it...

One thing is for sure if there are this many people pissed of about it. The thing is a piece of shit.

WTF ? Trying to watch this clip..

1. Goal Highlight Spectacular - 4th minute, 3rd Quarter
Round 9 - Brisbane vs Collingwood - 7:10pm, Saturday 26 May

Pies get ball to forward line and the clip suddenly stops and time warps to the Blues V Pies game Rd 7 ? Carlton entering the change room after the game ???

From service status page .....

I fixed your quote to reflect the more likely outcome

Clicking on the link in my favourites toolbar brought up the 'site temporarily unavailable' screen, but by refreshing the page I was able to get to the proper page.

And it seems they have put back up the large flash photo viewer, which means that once again the site takes about a decade to load. It's almost like they have employed a thousand monkeys working on a thousand typewriters to develop the site.

Looking at the Sydney Swans website to check the latest injury news, the latest information is from APRIL 2, 2007.

"Well done Telstra."

You're only 7 weeks behind.

Get with it or give up (preferably the latter).

The infidels have destroyed our servers. We are close to destroying their advancing troops and we will be online in 5 minutes.

We are winning.

Gold. Pure gold.

The Fremantle v St Kilda game finished almost 96 hours ago (4 days). Here are Freo's stats:

The same applies for all Round 9 games. Compare that incompetent garbage to the NRL site, which has stats up for last night's NRL match between Paramatta and New Zealand.

Is it that difficult sldavey, is it really? Do your trained monkeys need more time? Maybe get the stats up by Thursday. Heck, why not take until the weekend? Of course, no one is interested in stats in the hours or days immediately following a game are they? We all know that a small team of uni students could create a better afl.com.au than your crew, and for a fraction of the money. In your defence though, I assume the reason we haven't heard from you is because you're been busy looking for a new job.

AFL.COM.AU is currently unavailable.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will have the site back up shortly.

Gee thats a surprise.

'96 AFL website > '07 AFL website

Thank's to the wayback machine I was able to finally look at the archives of the AFL website (previously didn't work). The earliest archive it had was October 24th 1996 and I have come to the conclusion that the '96 website is superior to the 2007 website ;)

Re: '96 AFL website > '07 AFL website

I agree.
Anything is better than the shoddy filth of crap they call a website ATM.

Maybe we could petition the AFL to use the wayback machine to return the site to what it was 10 years ago ;)
