Not hard to be fair. Although I just had a look at the Essendon site and it's pretty good - neat, it works (always a plus) and not dominated with ads. Good decision by Essendon for sure.
Clicking on the link in my favourites toolbar brought up the 'site temporarily unavailable' screen, but by refreshing the page I was able to get to the proper page.
And it seems they have put back up the large flash photo viewer, which means that once again the site takes about a decade to load. It's almost like they have employed a thousand monkeys working on a thousand typewriters to develop the site.

Of course, no one is interested in stats in the hours or days immediately following a game are they? We all know that a small team of uni students could create a better afl.com.au than your crew, and for a fraction of the money. In your defence though, I assume the reason we haven't heard from you is because you're been busy looking for a new job.

Thank's to the wayback machine I was able to finally look at the archives of the AFL website (previously didn't work). The earliest archive it had was October 24th 1996 and I have come to the conclusion that the '96 website is superior to the 2007 website
