Rowey reckons its down to 2, Jars and Massie (who is in Victoria, getting some coaching cert apparently) but I have a close working relationship with someone @ the Bay and he says there are 6 in the mix for second stage of interviews. Given Rowey got sorta sacked his sources down there are akin to the Cornes boys' on any subject about Port currently - guesswork.

So you may dodge that bullet. But it's a bit foreboding.

I know Knights' time at the Magpies left people with bad memories, however, is his AFL coaching record any worse than Bailey's ? Most here were happy to have DB on board as an assistant, despite his performance at the Dees. At least Knights got the Bombers to a final. Because anybody that saw any of the games he coached at the Magpies in 04 knows that he is a completely tactically inept plonker. Thats not even starting with his Essendon days. Hopeless, arrogant, tactically poor *******.

Since Thomas started I can't remember the club being so silent on just about everything.

They have given us just very stock standard down the line comments... giving nothing away.

It's such a turnaround..... Is it Thomas or is it the lack of Cornes' around the club..... or both

actually happy we didn't get bailey, he had his time @ port, and considering his performance after he left us, not exactly super coach material.Port Adelaide made his reputation coz he was with us in our successful period.
