We are unique though. All the other clubs got to either keep their identity or are newly created franchises. We delve on what we've lost and what could've been.
He didn’t. Look closerThis Benny character works for the club? Why would he think putting a photo up of that can would be a good idea?
Meh. It's not the worst logo I've ever seen but it's a classic Koch era Ports 5/10 execution.
The different line weights for the border, the bars and the PA are annoying, as is the afterthought shoehorning in of 1870. If 1870 doesn't deserve a place of prominence, why muddy the logo to get it in?
It looks like something a well meaning opposition club supporter on the footy jumpers and graphic design board would knock up without doing any real research into the club.
Don't hate the style of the monogram but the P appears a bit shorter than the A?
Exactly if we were finishing top 4 where we shouldn't be nobody would have a problem.
My issue with the BiB jumper is that everyone said it looked like a traditional jumper and it did, just nothing to do with our tradition.
It's the american style of running the sports business. In football (soccer) in general in Europe and South america there are clubs with identical colours and sometimes even similar names. For example, when regional clubs were funded using the colours and sometimes names of larger and older first division clubs. Every so often those clubs find themselves in the same competition either by relegation/promotion of FA-type competitions. No one forces the new entrant, typically the smaller club, to change their identity. And the home/away strip rules apply the same to everyone. Having grown up with that, I sometimes find myself shaking my head with the AFL's approach. No other club in the world has been forced to bin their identity and start again. It’s no wonder it’s been an issue and it will continue to be until the Bars are brought back.
Eddie got his way again with our piss weak club. Of course we bent over for him again like the soft bunch of cucks this club has become. It's a joke . Settle petal.
The magpie is never returning get over it.
You're kind of dodging the question.
What is it that you want exactly? The magpie will never be part of our logo in the AFL.
It's only Eddie who has created a hill to die on and convinced the AFL to join him. There are already three clubs in the AFL who wear blue and white.Having grown up with that, I sometimes find myself shaking my head with the AFL's approach.
The Ken Hinkley 18th birthday celebratory logo. It's not horrible but it's not a good long term solution. Imo we will have another logo by 2030
To be fair most AFL logos are shitYeah it feels like a bit of a rough draft. It would take someone skilled about an hour to clean all these little bits up and instantly take it from a 5/10 to a 7 or 8.
What's the over/under for how long this lasts? 4-5 years?
