Agreed. I've always believed things like the hawthorn diamond preseason and other weird pre season things acceptable, due to the experimental nature of everything in that competition.

That one is the prototype. They shopped the SGI for digital media.
Maybe no player issues yet?? Interesting to see if they photoshop it, surely they will?

Seeing that with the old SGIO logo, I'm actually warming to the new one. I think it fits better with the deeper wings than the oval shaped one.

Nah, Lecras one was shopped to have the new logo on it, he was wearing the prototype for the photo's, you can see it a few pages back in this thread.

i found no logo, website after a quick google search but the SGIO website and logo remains. Also their latest youtube video (17 January 2016) features the SGIO logo

Probably because it's skintight and distorted. The sgio logo looks way too wide.

Absolutely no chance we mix and match, it'll be one or the other, new sgi or old sgio. I suspect the new batch woth the new sgi logo aren't ready yet, as the retails already have the new logo, no chance the player issues don't.
In early 2014 the Eagles did their photo day in 2013 template guernseys, but with the new manufacturer tage (so the eagles logo instead of the little blue man) but then the new template arrived in time for NAB cup and the regular season. I'd say the same has happended here, with the player issues with the new sgi logo on it, not ready. It does mean there'll be a whole batch of never worn player issues somewhere in the near future

Yeah there was a time we did things like that, I think Lynch was wearing an 03 or 04 away wings in the 07 QF against you guys, and a few little things like that, but these days, it wouldn't happen. We'll see the real ones for NAB cup I reckon. I do wonder though, if they made an entire set (home/clash/away) with the old SGIO logo, what a waste of money that'd be!!

Yes, but the SGIO and HJ logos were current logos. No way WCE would wear onfield guernseys with obsolete sponsor logos.
It's so good to see this, not because of the wings but because of who's wearing them!
