This is true!Well, I'm just following AFL logic...
wouldnt mind emThis is true!
If Richmond got yellow shorts to go with their yellow tops then the umpires could have a fully-white kit.
Imagine how bright the Tigers would be then!
With our new clash - nope, I'd be all for it. Happy for West Coast to win a Grand Final in any of our 3 jumpers now.Which poses a question, would you have a lesser enjoyment if your team won a Grand Final in a jumper other than your main colours?
Eg: Essendon won in the grey heritage or Carlton in the baby blue (or shudder, WC in the ochre)
Agree with the sentimentWith our new clash - nope, I'd be all for it. Happy for West Coast to win a Grand Final in any of our 3 jumpers now.
I would have been annoyed if we wore the white "table cloth" in a GF - but would still want the win obviously.
But must admit, I didn't even like the idea of WCE wearing the Home "tri-panel" in a Grand Final either.
It would have been interesting to see what you did if you played the Bulldogs in a Grand Final. Would you have worn the home tripanel or the tablecloth at the time? With our new clash - nope, I'd be all for it. Happy for West Coast to win a Grand Final in any of our 3 jumpers now.

The sponsor situation would've probably meant we wore the tablecloth (though I/most other fans would've preferred the tripanel , especially since the GF already involves an additional logo anyway )It would have been interesting to see what you did if you played the Bulldogs in a Grand Final. Would you have worn the home tripanel or the tablecloth at the time?
If so, it is now my favourite mostly white clashGod that is beautiful. Has that been confirmed as a clash design?

Darwin’s Adelaide Crows footballers helping shatter stereotypes in AFLW
MARC McGOWAN, NT News
March 8, 2017 12:39pm
DON’T try telling Lauren O’Shea she can’t do anything a man can.
Darwin-based footballer O’Shea is part of the AFL Women’s revolution that is all about shattering stereotypes and offering females the same opportunities as males.
But that philosophy is nothing new for the 32-year-old, a member of the inaugural Adelaide Crows squad.
O’Shea grew up in country Victorian town Yarrawonga and had a father who treated her no differently than her two brothers.
“My dad’s a slaughterman and I was his key helper as a child — even ahead of my brothers,” O’Shea told the NT News.
“That’s just what I did and how I was brought up.
“I’ve done a lot of fishing and shooting in my life with my family, and I didn’t know anything different as a kid.
“As I did get older, I guess that wasn’t the norm for a lot of people.”
O’Shea is amid a massive week, with the Crows set to play their first match for premiership points in Darwin on Saturday and her NTFL club Waratah in the grand final the same day.
And today is International Women’s Day, an occasion to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of females.
“To me, it just means women being the unique individuals they are and empowering other women to do whatever it might be they want to do,” O’Shea said.
“Women and girls need to believe in themselves and whatever it is they want to do, just go out and chase that.”
O’Shea, a school teacher, was an emergency the past two AFLW rounds as she edges closer to her Adelaide debut.
She hopes to play this weekend for the Crows or the Tahs, who are chasing a sixth straight premiership against the Darwin Buffettes.
“I really want to play for Crows, obviously, but I’m a bit torn between the two ... we’ll find out this week,” O’Shea said.
“I’ve been in contact with (my Waratah teammates) and they’re pretty excited.
“They’ve done a good job and are pretty fit, but Buffs are quite a good team, so it will be interesting on the weekend.”
The AFLW competition’s W logo is purple this week, in honour of the International Women’s Day’s colour of choice to symbolise gender equality.

You can normally get around it by looking up the headline in Google.well observed!

No just NoPersonally I don't see it as a big deal. The club can always change into their home tops for the presentation (a la Spain in the 2010 WC final) and also gives them an opportunity to start a new tradition like how Milan always wear their all-white kit in a Champions League final.
The logo is turning purple though, which I presume will feature on the jumpers.Probably belongs in a another thread as its irrelevant to jumpers.
They don't call me inspector gadget for nothingwell observed!

Yeah of course, was just saying that they might end up heat pressing on purple logos for this round or something.Only for one week, it's just a topical thing. They'll persist with the orange, it's everywhere.
What's so wrong with that though? No just No
you're right, I thought that they did for some reason. Probably has no relevance in that case.I'd be pretty surprised, considering they don't even use the normal pinkish-orange colour on the jumpers.
