The camry logo on the back looks awesome, the C-HR one looks jammed in there though and kinda feels a bit wrong to have something other than toyota or camry on there. Wouldn't mind it if they're going to be used.

I think the Camry logo would look just as squashed if it was on the home jumper, its the back hoops causing that effect. The Camry on the alternates do look super slick though.

I totally agree that C-HR doesn't feel right though. For 26 years, both of our jumper sponsor logos have only ever been either Toyota or Camry (apart from that one random final where we had the Melanoma logo on the back). I'm somewhat surprised its taken this long to bring different models in actually. Around the mid-2000s when Toyota were really pushing the Aurion, I was expecting that to make an appearance but it never did.

I don't know about that, the camry seems to me to be in a lighter font so it might have looked better. Also having camry would have felt more at home on the home imo if that makes any sense, then have c-hr on the away guernseys where it has more space.

Courtesy of Dc9798 over on the Adelaide board, looks like there will be specific Toyota models on the back of the Crows jumpers this year - C-HR on the home, and Camry on both clashes. Could just be promotional, but look pretty legit. If its real, it'll be only the second time the back sponsor hasn't been just the Toyota logo (Hybrid Camry in 2010).

Interesting, already got a 2nd batch of player jumpers in with new branding? Bizarre they haven't been wearing this design during the JLT matches.

EDIT: The jumpers handed out during the player presentations still had Toyota on the back. Were these done just for the promotional photos?

Do we even have full batches of all three jumpers? We'll only wear the home for the whole JLT and we don't get player photos in alternate jumpers like some clubs, so maybe they just got the home jumpers whipped up quickly while they finalised the logos, before doing a full run of all three kits with the correct logos.

Seems like a lot of trouble to go to just for a promo.

Bring back the Camry in the white box on the home. It's maybe the only sponsor I could advocate being in a patch (along with the Swans and QBE). The current Toyota on the front just blends into the navy (and yellow, and even the white).

Noooo blending is the best method! How I would give for more sponsors such as Jeep and Toyota in the league.

It works a lot of the time, ala how good the Suns looked with Host Plus as white and not in white (and how much more obvious their logo looked), but the Sydney one isn't so much better looking but it is classic Swans. The Crows one looks shite, as the silver and ride gets lost in the dark colour, and the old white box looked right on in the 90s but the square/rounded square 2000s versions was a cool little carry-on trend.

They haven't used the silver/red version of the logo since 2014. Its just plain white now. Best of both worlds really, in that its obvious enough to stand out and be seen for Toyota's sake, but isn't a big ass patch that ruins the kit.

Just pull that middle logo up a liiiiiittle more and you've sorted it.

Also, I wonder if a club is allowed to use different versions of the same sponsor throughout the season. I'm sure Toyota or Mazda wouldn't mind it. Did Essendon change their 3 colours in season or did every player have a different colour, or did it just switch season to season? Say a club in debt could get an extra hundred grand out of the sponsorship, I reckon the AFL would give it the all-clear.

I reckon it's silly to bag a jumper just because you think the main feature is a bit low.
I don't mind the idea of essentially denigrating the firsts' jumper so there's the aura you have to 'earn your stripes' or whatever, but you take away that effect and it's a pretty ugly and OTT design. I mean it's okay. It's a reserves jumper. Who cares really?

I don't like those North jumpers.

Because the numbers are the same colour as the bottom stripes, the only thing that stands out is the sponsorship logo...

The socks annoy me as well, Freo's gone the same way, where they aren't true, traditional sort of socks (ala the Swans). The bottom is almost all blue and the top is white, so the stripes start way too high and the white being on top just warps the way they sit. Not a fan.

Not sure if this is the correct thread but Collingwood unveiled their VFL jumper today. Brilliant... except for the white glow applied to the logo.

Precursor to a one off design for the senior team in the 125 year celebration match against Carlton in May?

I doubt Collingwood would slap a logo across their jumper for a big event like the that. Especially against Carlton
Yeah good point, aside from indigenous round our one off jumpers are usually more subtle.
