But yeah they're retails but I've said this before and everyone ignored it, whatever, fits are a bugbear of mine... but the Cotton On stuff is awful. The shorts have no actual thought to the cut, they just go straight down. The jumpers are the same, they're just like boxes with arm holes in the side – there's no thought toward tailoring them in at the sides and remembering humans have contours generally in the same places. The collars always seem uber tight and just too big as well.

To me, and I just realised this, but the Geelong strips look like they've been taken off a mannequin a week into the design process. They're all like prototypes or short-term solutions for a promo. The collars are weirdly sized, the fit is like your most basic template that hasn't been cut in yet... they just annoy me.

That guersney description reminds me so much of reebok. The retail guernsey cut was just 2 rectangles sewn together with arm and neck holes. Horrendous shape.

New Geelong back. Although iron-on here, looks like the number font won't be changing.

4 being the amount of games he’ll play before he’s injured again, yeah?

I really love Ablett in No. 4. Joiing a groupm of stars like Martin, Bontepelli, Hannerbry, Ryder, Grundy, Jenkins, Gresham and Greene

Couldn't agree with you more. Last season people were saying Cotton On had done a good job and produced "inoffensive" gear, but I beg to differ. The placement of the hoops was slightly off. I feel like they moved them all down, so there was too much white space beneath the COAR logo at the collar, and the Ford logo sat too low on the back. This year looks even worse with just the Ford wordmark because there it just accentuates the amount of white. Also, just look at the gap between the AFL and Ford logos on the front of Ablett's jumper! You mentioned the poor fit of the shorts which is true, and the little contrasting patch on the side looked like it was just there for the sake of it. Looked really out of place. All round its just... not great.

They've made the top hoop be the main element and everything works around it. Instead of it being a random thing between the collar and top, it's just sitting perfectly at the bottom of the collar. No Geelong jumper has ever looked like that. And it shouldn't.
