YeahView attachment 1069234has anyone seen this beanie for sale? thanks in advance.
so brave. so stunning. so helpful.
so bathe. so stunning. so helpful.
I think classic have impressed with their training gear and maybe not the actual onfield kits. Also sekem haven't impressed me at all
Yeah that Fitzroy/Bears reversible training top had been me bursting through the front of my pants. Also no reason why either couldn't have been worn vs Gold Coast and the white can be rightly given the arseThis new training Guernsey for the home, reverse it for the away, perfection.
I rather like the white, and the AFL probably demand most clubs have a predominantly white strip anyway. But yes it could have been done.Yeah that Fitzroy/Bears reversible training top had been me bursting through the front of my pants. I just don't see the need for it, it's not one of our colors and the yellow or red are more than adequate.I rather like the white, and the AFL probably demand most clubs have a predominantly white strip anyway. But yes it could have been done.

I don't know how these contracts work but can this be a reason to terminate the current contract? Like It's been a genuine pisstake while the other Aussie Castore sides seem to have some decent gear and already training in them. It's only just popped up in my mind but have we (West Coast that is) had our photo day yet?
Like some clubs had there's months ago and we still waiting on Castore (unless I'm mistaken).
I'm certain that if the Bears-type training guernsey was acceptable to the AFL as a clash guernsey, we'd be using it right now. Pretty sure I remember reading a few years back that the similar clash guernsey from back then needed to have a certain amount of white in it to be signed off by the AFL.I just don't see the need for it, it's not one of our colors and the yellow or red are more than adequate.
it wasn't helpful in the slightest and he was clearly trolling me.
Personally think 4-8 probably diminishes it and makes it a bit tokenistic.I mean I’d take the PBs full time, but we currently have arguably the best home jumper in the league right now so not all is bad. I don’t reckon a Port fan could complain if we had the PBs for Showdowns, ANZAC round, one premiership anniversary and finals, that’s anywhere between 4 and 8 uses in a year which is great.

You are probably right, it just shits me how its ok for Richmond and Essendon not to have white but for some unknown reason Brisbane have to.I'm certain that if the Bears-type training guernsey was acceptable to the AFL as a clash guernsey, we'd be using it right now. Because we're not the AFLs golden children, that's why. Big Victorian clubs are coddled all the time by the AFL, but many of their fans are incapable of recognising their club's privilege. You are probably right, it just shits me how its ok for Richmond and Essendon not to have white but for some unknown reason Brisbane have to.

Maybe, but I think they are all occasions worth celebrating. 8 would only be on the proviso that we get to the Grand Final via the longest possible route. Under what I suggest we would have worn the PB's 4 times in 2020 (one showdown, no ANZAC round, 2 finals and once to celebrate the anniversary of the 1890, 1910, 1980 and 1990 premierships, 3 of which were in the bars).Personally think 4-8 probably diminishes it and makes it a bit tokenistic.
No reason for it to be used in finals. Fine to use for showdowns and maybe a if its a special event. But its a step too far to ditch the jumper you use week in week out just so you can win a flag in the pb.Maybe, but I think they are all occasions worth celebrating. 8 would only be on the proviso that we get to the Grand Final via the longest possible route. If you wear it 8 times in a season of lets say 26 games (the longest road to a GF), 13/14 of which are home games youll wear it more than you should currently wear your "home" jumper.Maybe, but I think they are all occasions worth celebrating. 8 would only be on the proviso that we get to the Grand Final via the longest possible route. Except it's not really a step too far for Port people. One of the big things about the PBs is that it is synonymous with success and wearing it honours those that won premierships for the club. It's for that reason Port fans won't take teal bars, we didn't win all those premierships in them.No reason for it to be used in finals. Fine to use for showdowns and maybe a if its a special event. This is my ideal scenario tbh. Then it may as well be your new "home jumper".
What about the afl premiership you've won? Wear it, celebrate it but you've been wearing teal since 1997 and been relatively successful. The current home kit is a good balance between sanfl and afl teams.Except it's not really a step too far for Port people. 34>1 though, I don't think it's a reasonable rebuttal to say that the 1 is more important than the others when those premierships are what we earned entry into the league from and we have the record for top level premierships in the country. Plus the Prison bars are an objectively better design than the SBS.What about the afl premiership you've won?
