If New Balance aren’t willing to pay for the space under the collar and Dare are, I don’t see the issue.

A logo is a logo and there’s more important things to worry about than having a jumper look ‘clean’ in this climate.

As I said earlier, I’d rather see a struggling club survive with their jumper looking like a billboard than go under because their jumper is ‘aesthetically pleasing’

Strong disagree! Jumper aesthetics beat out sheer existence any day

Are they willing to pay but have to wait for the Dare deal to end?

I find these stitched-on bibs hilarious

Crows just posted a video where Thilthorpe got a jumper given to him for press photos and noticed the optus sponsor still on the back above the number. Retail jumpers on the club site don't seem to have this, so wonder if it is just a thing they will do on the PI's or maybe its a prototype we are seeing in these pics.

Personally not really that fussed about having it on there as it is a quite inoffensive white wordmark. Gets our shit logo off the jumper, so maybe even a positive!

Good pick up! That, combined with the St Kilda news with Pepper Money, suggests it could certainly be a thing moving forward. Will be interesting to see if all clubs still do it, or only a few.
