The only explanation for the delay would be that there are some multi-level contract negotiations going on with Nike, and if the rumours about the Holden Centre being renamed the Nike Performance Centre are true, well that's probably it. I imagine with such a large sponsorship package they'd want to take their time flatting out the details, crossing the t's, dotting the i's.

Have always wanted certain clubs to do a blackout jumper as a once off, think it would look really good on some jumpers.

100%! Blackout dockers, lions, eagles and power spring to mind (as far as designs that would still be distinguishable)

As much as I’m a staunch traditionalist, I wouldn’t mind seeing a blackout tigers home jumper. Having just a yellow outlined black sash! Might have a go at a mock up and put it in the ideas thread.
