Lost a stripe on the back for the Hungry Jack's logo it seems, also didn't fix the order of the stripes on the red jumper which is annoying, still better than any of the white jumpers though.

Not sure why they’d change the stripe order like that. Port does a similar thing with the white chevron, for some reason they make it the top chevron on the away kits. The inconsistency bugs me.

Oh no O Neills. They had such a good template last season, why'd they need to change it up? That new collar reminds me of the old BLK collars. Just give me a simple V neck please. The HJs logo makes me really miss just having Toyota there as well.
It’s more so following the old NRL template

Giants haven't mentioned a thing about the 2022 guernsey but mick simmons will sell it to you for $120

Same can be said for Carlton and Richmond, maybe Puma releasing more soon?

No images or photos which makes me wonder if it's fair dinkum.

The SKU numbers (minus the 01) do appear to match up with the Puma numbering system that was manipulated earlier to reveal the North jumpers. I've just checked and there's nothing on Puma's site for e.g. the new GWS home SKU, but that doesn't mean there won't be eventually.

Man, I'm just gonna say it. I'm really, really annoyed by these kits. And you know what? Its not the Hungry Jacks logo. What they've gone for is far better than the giant square West Coast had in 2018.

Nope, my issue first and foremost is with the ditching of the gold jumper. Why get rid of it?! It was perfect! Fulfilled the role greatly, arguably better than the red version. There was no need to ditch either of them, just keep both and use whichever is best in each scenario. I'll admit its a bit divisive, with the fan base seemingly split down the middle of either loving it or hating it without much middle ground, but on the couple of occasions we've tried to get a gold clash jumper happening, the club immediately give in to the haters and ditch it without giving it a chance and letting it grow on people. I held off buying the 2021 kit because I didn't want the names all over it, but I guess I'll have to go out and buy one now because who knows if it will ever come back?

On top of that...

They didn't fix the order of the hoops on the red jumper, even though they have it right on the SANFL version. If you're going to bastardise one because they need to be different for whatever reason, then make it the reserves one.

The collar is trash. We seem to get lumped with these split/bib collars all the time. Our jumper always looks far better with a full gold collar. Not to mention the inconsitency in application between the home and away.

The removal of a hoop on the back to accommodate the HJ's logo is terrible. It might be seen as preferable to a white box over the design, but even better would have been to thicken up the hoops back to the early 90's style which would have pushed that second set on the front further down and allowed them to pass under the back logo uninterrupted.

Ugh. We just seemed to be so close to perfection and we've gone and taken a giant leap backwards.

Home: no major changes but the stripe needs to come back on the back, 7.5/10
Clash: Red is good but the navy cuffs and weird full red collar is a no, 6/10
Training: I like it but it feels like it's missing something on the front, 8.5/10
I don't love the new collars but they're ok.
I greatly prefer the navy cuffs to yellow on the red guernsey!

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed as well. Hopefully they do what they did last year and release a third (yellow) guernsey once the season gets going, would be a shame to only get one year of that awesome jumper.

Talking to some of my mates who go for Adelaide, is the yellow guernsey more preferred over the red one? I would have thought because the red one is quite similar to the SA guernsey that it would be vastly more popular but perhaps I could be wrong.

I'm not an Adelaide fan, but I just the gold looks right, but the red with navy cuffs makes it feel a little dark compared to the brighter feeling yellow cuffs.

The yellow felt more 'crows' to me because I guess it was just an inverse of the home jumper, navy with yellow cuffs to yellow with navy. The red would probably have a bit more of an SA vibe if it just had red for the collar and cuffs.

Am I the only one who finds the away angry roo a bit… sexy. Another inch or so and you could see it’s nipples.
I've just come across a secret prototype for this exact jersey. I think they toned downed the sexiness after some complaints from staff

Yeah i have a mate who loves the Crows, he definitely rates the yellow over the red

I hate the hierarchy of colours on the Adelaide away Guernsey.

It should go red, yellow, blue. Not red, blue yellow. At least the got the collars right this time by having them as blue and not yellow.

Exactly! And its not like they haven't managed to get it right once already...
