Are ISC making a come back? Saw the Indigenous all stars jumper is done by ISC, usually Puma tend to make the gear for the AFL these days.
ISC are Hawthorn's apparel sponsor. Have been since 2023.
There's every chance they add another club to their stable for 2025.

It's not, that was the 2015 jumper used in the promo shots.

Perfect timing for afl contract end dates ...
Probably an intentional choice to do it at this time of year every year. Footy’s in the off-season but also given you’d need to do this ahead of bringing all the new manufacturer’s stock in. Means nothing has to change when it is a year that they switch over.

100% would be part change over and general Stocktake before the end of the clubs financial year which is October 31.

The linework on that monogram is horrendous. Do they really think that having a slightly wavy straight line was the intention of the 'designers' back in 1925? Clean it up properly, don't just scan and live trace. Ugly and lazy.

I guess it is one way to make it look 'vintage'. Kinda like how Hollywood makes scenes in Mexico look desolate and have a sepia filter on it.

But I do agree, they needed to go the route of this clash design and have a 21st century designer clean up the lines.

I actually don't mind it, it gives it a bit of personality. I can't stand these 'modern rethinks,' the cleanness of lines and their widths are all so bland feeling. it's why every St Kilda 'I just modernised the font and thickened the lines...' never works and the OG does. there's something about the imperfection of the original logo that really says it's a 100, 150 year old club and not any team with those initials.

Overall though it is an absolutely shit logo.

The main issue is that the predominant colour is... not a club colour.

Easy to play light and brown off one another, it's not that far from black and yellow in the ultimate contrast in yellow and black, and there's so much you could do. introducing white is really lazy.

Think the absolute best logos, as also presented in that video, feature a hawk soaring down and about to take off with a footy. there's been a whole heap. there's something a bit cheeky, entitled, but 'that's what hawks do' about the look and short story it tells – coming in and taking what you want.

The whole 'bird looks proud' thing is already owned by Collingwood and far more suits a magpie, too.
