Should be a uniform rule to have the apparel brand on the collar, lions and the saints almost look like nascar drivers with the amount of sponsors smashed all over their tops

I think the M is far less intrusive than the Chery or Caltex logos (i.e. Eagles) , but I see your point

You would have to draw the line somewhere, do they have to actually produce the kit? Because that rule out skeechers, new balance and under armour.

I sound like a broken record at this point, but I loathe the detached 'G' on the Giant guernsey. It's just sad to see really.

GWS need to either have the never surrender or the 2021-23 away jumper as their permanent home jumper, with the other as their clash, and a white third jumper for away games against the Crows.

As for us, I prefer us to wear our home jumper at home or when we play away and there is no clash with the opposition. But I also accept the will of the Victorian based supporters should be accepted when we play in Victoria.

Ideally for our away games/games we are listed as the "away" team:
Adelaide - Bears insp jumper, white shorts.
Carlton - Roys insp jumper, royal blue shorts.
Collingwood (reg season/finals) - Roys insp jumper, royal blue shorts.
Collingwood (grand final/gather round) - Home jumper, maroon shorts.
Essendon - Roys insp jumper, white shorts.
Fremantle - Roys insp jumper, royal blue shorts (Fitzroy's last ever win and last ever game was against Fremantle so that's the only time we should wear the Roys inspired jumper outside Victoria).
Geelong with white shorts (reg season/finals) - Roys insp jumper, royal blue shorts
Geelong with white shorts (grand final/gather round) - Home jumper, maroon shorts.
Gold Coast 2011-2024 - Bears insp jumper, white shorts.
Gold Coast 2025 rumoured (I've heard it's gonna be mostly yellow/gold with red shorts) - Home jumper, maroon or white shorts.
GWS - Home jumper, maroon or white shorts.
Hawthorn - Home jumper, white shorts (Roys jumper against them is a bit of an eyesore).
Melbourne (in Victoria) - Roys insp jumper, white shorts.
Melbourne (gather round/Alice Springs) - Bears insp jumper, maroon or white shorts.
North Melbourne (Vic reg season/finals) - Roys insp jumper, white shorts
North Melbourne (Hobart/WA/gather round/grand final) - Home jumper, maroon shorts.

Interesting the different point of view on this, I hate the M, especially last year when all 3 jumpers had the gold cuffs and collars looked like it came with a $2 meal.

I think why McDonalds sponsors on the spot The home and clash jumper should lose the gold collar and cuffs as well.

Yeah I dislike the gold collar and cuffs on the home. The clash it actually works, as its the only kit where the M matches the kit base, but wouldn't mind seeing them in maroon either.

Sketchers is a funny one because to my knowledge all they make is cheap shoes and not kits yeah? You’d allow under armour and nb because they subcontract to manufactures that make the kits here in Aus licensed to display their brand. Like peroni from Italy subcontracts to Carlton in melb to make their beer, Carlton makes it but it still branded / tastes like a peroni? If that analogy makes sense

They refresh the collar every three years so wouldn’t be surprised if we see a complete overhaul with the new logo

I think the horse has already bolted in this debate.
I think ua and nb only licence the teamwear side of the business, but supply the apparel and shoes side.

I think if you were going to put in restrictions you'd look at sportswear companies including shoes like skeechers and slazanger of yester year.

Richmond clash with the plain yellow back again. I quite liked the consistency with the home jumper and the sash on the back for both. They should definitely experiment with an all black back on the home jumper like the early 2000s

I thought it was horrendous. White numbers don't work on a yellow jumper. I'm glad they changed it back.
