Strawman alert ....
Uh no, that's not a strawman, that's showing the farcical nature of your last point. I know we get taken out to the woodshed regardless, I don't care about that. That doesn't mean you're allowed to cheat willy nilly. I never knew it was A-OK to do so just because you would have won anyway (which you would've). Which begs the question, why do it to begin with? But hey, keep your head in the sand...

No, you used Armstrong, the sports equivalent of invoking Hitler ...

He used substances that cause an advantage in exactly the areas he was elite in.... They absolutely changed the result ...

No head in sand at all, if it's a breach it should be punished... But perspective is required...

I'm hoping you are equally determined to see the Bombers punished.. :)

You're the one offering a definitive response

I am merely open to the prospect that it could well have been intentional based on past behavior

Huh...

Read the post you responded to. It was a Leap to a comclusion based on nothing.

Joining imaginary dots could take us pretty much anywhere we wanted to go on almost any argument about anything ....

Imaginary?

You lost a first round pick for spygate. Why is it such a reach that you could be capable of another transgression?

11/12 is a pretty big figure

I hardly think this is "nothing". It may well be a mistake, but it is a coincidence then that it revolves arounf your organisation

My whole issue is that before every drive begins, each time a ball enters the field of play, the match officials are the first to touch it. If it's not up to scratch they would surely be trained to know when a ball is under the correct PSI level just by feel, if it makes such a difference surely the NFL need to have their officials all over it. Perhaps they will now.

At this point it's one of two scenarios:

1) The Patriots legitimately cheated, or
2) Given the apparent uniform nature of the depression, 11/12 balls experienced a drop in PSI in cold weather conditions.

Graham Gano is over it on Twitter stating the refs check the PSI indoors and not outdoors. For the sake of my fandom, I sincerely hope there is no funny business on the Patriots behalf. If proven to be altering footballs (even though Rodgers has said he likes his overinflated), it's not a good look and the team deserves a fine and a loss of a draft pick.

I'll let the facts play our further before teeing off.

I've posted Gano's tweets on the AFC Championship game thread here.

They held up play at one point because of this

Straight after half time when allegedly the balls had been retested because of the Colts complaint...

Also interesting that no players seemed to notice anything on either side ...
The colts use their own ball and they were noticed by the colts as soon as Jackson picked off Brady
