Snag is going to go ballistic over that haunting melody.:thumbsu:

Not yet I'm not, because my computer tells me it's going to take over an hour and a half to download. 4% atm.:( I'm putting it on an external hard drive. Would it be quicker if I put it in my C drive?

Snag it's time to get off the dial up. I'm at 7 percent... 8 percent... :p

No, I was bum-rushed onto broadband a few months ago. Well.....

I cried. So beautiful, so human.

It's a particularly good telling of the new Collingwood story because it's so comprehensive. We see the fans, the players - you've worked them all in - the coaches, the pres; we live through the build-up - you can feel that tension - the pre-game rituals, and then we explode on the field.

I love the detail -the socks, shoes, knees, shoulders. I love the way you've foregrounded the relationships between the players - their pleasure in each other's achievements, their recognition of the support they get during play. I love the way you're emphasised the effort - sometimes desperate effort - and then shown it rewarded. I love the way you've highlighted the exuberance, the joy, the courage, the touch of genius, the loyalty of the supporters. And especially they way you've chosen those lovely moments of vulnerability when players, coach, pres and supporters open their hearts. :thumbsu: Thanks Favs.

Btw, I keep hearing that song floating out of the garage. What's it called? I might get himself interested in footy at last. And I'm keeing that web page open all day for replays.

The song is by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard, its called "now we are free". You may find it easier to find the version by ENYA.

You describe the video perfectly, how i intended to create it, and how i intended it to come across. It has been on the table since round 1, just adding bit by bit, im just glad it turned out how I wanted it to and im glad everyone is getting something out of it. Now to get this out to people who know nothing about AFL so we get some more Collingwood fans.

Collingwood inspire us to better ourselves, I just hope they get what they deserve, a premiership.

Damn this is the longest wait I have ever had................. Even Peachpie didnt keep me at the altar this long................. Just seeing all the posts have goosebumps all over.
Will be watching it while my dinner goes cold on teh bench LOL.

Brilliant, just brilliant. This HAS to be sent off to the boys surely. Just one thing I would've loved to see, and was hoping would be there at the end...was Swanny's celebration just before the siren in that epic WCE extra time game a couple of years ago. Still a great ****ing video though, felt the chills just like everyone else.

Brilliant video mate. Love the soundtrack too.

Not sure if you take requests / recommendations... but I'd consider 'Mark Isham - Flames' [off the Crash soundtrack] for your next one if you do it. Just as stirring. :)

Also, does anyone have footage of Didak's first goal against the Crows? I missed the first few minutes because of work and haven't caught the replay, and bloody bigpond is a joke.

Great video. I got goose bumps watching it. I have sent it across to the boys in the footy department to have a look. Evokes pure emotion for the club!

Now this is awesome news

Awesome video, I've watched it a couple of times, and made my Essendon supporting friend watch it - even he got something out of it, not that he'd admit as much. Seriously awesome.
