Teams usually fire coaches when their season is done. Not saying the Jets are going to make the playoffs either but its different to the usual being this early.

Should have just done it in the off season rather than now if they were thinking about it

Exactly. But I feel Rodgers wanted his buddy Hackett around and if they brought in a new staff he wouldnt have been.

Doesn't mean we haven't underperformed, should've won at least one of the last 2 games. To be fair it's the offense which is the issue so not sure how much accountability Saleh should have for that but the situation was becoming untenable.

Yeah dont let the 1 game out of first place fool anyone. This team wasn't winning the division with Saleh as HC, there are still the same issues that have gone on the past 3 years (whether or not that changes under Ulbrich who knows). The Jets were fortunate to beat the Titans, if not for a Will Levis meltdown they likely dont.

I suppose it's Rodgers team but there is truly no way this ends well. Even if it ends up with a win next week which it won't
