Hardwick is in his first year, Martin certainly wasn't going to be the difference between that squad's success or failure, he has nothing to worry about until at least the end of year three.

Lets be realistic. Suns won all but one home game this year they are good enough for finals but cant win away. Barring an injury riddled season Suns must win 15 games next season or there abouts or Hardwick has failed

Crazy Vossy and Badloss are probably in a similar boat - they're safe for this year but if they start 2025 poorly they'll be in serious strife.
Surely not. After many decades of failure he got them to a prelim in his second season just like Hinks, so it's only fair to give him at least another decade without questioning his tenure. If Carlton fans start agitating in eight or so years time, I fully expect the AFL media to rally around him by calling the fans ingrates and having unrealistic expectations because it's not the VFL anymore.

Seems like best of both parties for Melb and Goodwin to part ways. Been there for 9 seasons. Don’t want to overdo your stay as coach. Fresh start needed into a new era
