I Did just get a $200+ refund on HBOmax, because apparently someone f**ked up when the accounts moved to Max and anyone with a yearly sub via google play got a refund, they gave me a full refund. but now have to buy a new sub because its our most used streaming service.

But i did get 6 months for free so i guess for once a f**k up worked for the users.

I'll wait until August....might invest in a global roaming device....they lock to one country so as long as I sub in same country it might do.

But it still doesn't wash over the fact they are ****ing us.

I just tried watching simultaneously on multiple devices and it works. You can also have I think 5-6 devices logged in.

The problem I’m having though is the app on all devices thinks my internet isn’t strong enough which is false. It well and truly can handle HD content.

I’ve even tried using other peoples network and makes no difference.

Dazn’s support page is useless and says the app can’t use 100% of your speed and you’ll need to up the bandwidth by 100% lol

Also can’t use a vpn either.

Pretty much they say contact your internet provider to figure out the issues.

Speed isnt the issue with most people, its providers and CDN access. and since its live there is no buffering.

I do feel like next season the price will go because there will be a stack of accounts opt out because of the change and the cost of living crisis around the world.

Which does nothing for anyone this year.

The app freezes whenever I try using my 4g network so good luck with that haha

It must be hard finding places in the world with worse internet than the average Australian house.

My personal experience is Singapore is miles ahead, Kuala Lumpur good as is Bangkok. Manila is OK (when its up). My house in Indonesia rocks but that’s because I went ballistic on the infrastructure….well it is good until someone tries to illegally splice into the fibre on the street.

Real issue is the horseshit wifi infrastructure in the hotels.

I think I would be batching less if I didn't just cop a speeding ticket from a speed trap between 2 hills a few weeks ago. And then lastweek hit a f**king craters sized pothole that blew a tyre and f**ked my rim so that's another $600 for the rim and $200 for the new tyre.

Along with other bills and vet visits.
I think i spent just as much on my cats at the vet this week as a yearly gamepass sub.

Yep…but that was when I “borrowed” a local’s account because my GamePass wouldn’t work in the USA. It’s been a few years but was similar to the AFL’s service here.

NFL+ is us only. And only for phones and tablets. I think it mifht also be only for in market games so that it doesn't invade the Sunday Ticket contract

Yeah. But I think that's just because I'm a softie and give into them. But so does my parter. A week or 2 ago one of the cats was sleeping on our bed in the early evening and my partner put the heater on in the bedroom so the cat didn't get cold. But at least the room was warm when we went to bed. (So yeah we are going to have a fun winter electricity bill)

Both cats are treated like we are their human slaves.

Compare to monthly sub prices for thibgs like D+, Prime, Stan, Netflix, for endless hours of movies/shows.

Streaming services are such a racket.

Yes and no.

Lets say you only have kayo to watch your team. So 4 games a month = $8 a game.

Thats not bad really compared to going to the movies or even the old days of renting a movie

I went through GamePass/Contact us.
Not sure if that was the right way but received this email back once I told them I wanted to cancel my auto renewal

You can cancel it once you login into DAZN and go to your account subscriptions too by the looks.

Problem is a lot of us are locked out of out Dazn accounts as we are not in the country we created our Gamepass accounts.

Use wrb browser not app.
Settings burger menu, choose "account settings". Scroll down to "money, bank acct and cards" and select that option. On the loaded page, scroll down a bit to "automatic payments".

You should see an entry for "nfl gamepass deltaire llc" with "manage autonatic payments" under it. Just click on the actual wording of "nfl gamepass deltaire llc" and a sliding drawer opens under it, showing you its ACTIVE. Click on the CANCEL part. It processes it and confirms no future payments to them will happen.

Had 2 DAZN Auto payments set up in my Paypal. Cancelled both.
