It’s a loss of course but if they only lose 3 senior players and recruit they’ll be alright

They've lost 5 already from the Grand Final side and more to come. Plus Jetta is gone.

Ah yep. They are in a bit of trouble. But are Throwing around a fair bit of coin I’ve heard from a few potential recruits.

4 from their GF side confirmed leaving so far not including Mckernan, Plus Bennett and wheatley from their reserves.

Div 3 thread seems certain that Nathan Thomas is leaving too.

I wonder if they dont enter an under 19s to ensure they field a reserves in 2024.

Just of curiosity, is he bringing an assistant coach with him? Or more than one player?
Because when he was appointed at DP he was bringing along with him a number players who mysteriously never arrived, the only player who he got across was a goal kicking weapon who kicked 10 goals in 7 matches walked out on him by round 8 and went back to the club he left, his assistant coach walked out on him too literally seconds before the ball was bounce of round 3. He struggled to communicate with players and struggled to compose himself in the box.


Anyone could've coached that DP side to a flag in D1 EDFL, no feather in his cap winning that one.

Yep he's a gun. But the problem with Mont is they continue to get good players through the door, but also lose players at the same time.
Will they be a better side then last year? Losing the Buxton is a huge loss.

Yeah all good records but why does he keep Getting moved on and not re appointed?

He's coached two flags,
The question is over how he conducts himself & the manner he's departed each club.
Hopefully for both he & Bundoora that it is a successful long term appointment.

Can confirm it’s not confirmed as yet. Players I have spoken to are unsure either way. He does work with a couple of Bundoora people as well. So McKernan is still rumour as fact it seems.
