OK before all the sarcasm appears on this forum - Ferranato who is listed with Carlton VFL has left his alignment with the slime where his brother plays to play with the Bergs for more playing time with the struggling Bergs - nothing to do with $$$$$$$ or anything else job wise he just saw the opportunity for more game time that he wouldn't get at such a dominant side like Greensborough HAHAHA Well played Bergs, Wilson & Ferranato are not a bad mid field combo if you have the cash LOL

The bottom 4 sides from 2024 are not announcing any new recruits (Macleod aside LOL) of any note - Are South Morang a smokie to benefit?

If they were to make this determination it would have to be in the weeks following season - you can't spring it on a team in Nov once they have commenced recruitment/signings and registration is open
It could. But shouldn’t. Other leagues have.
If you beat bergs in a GF and they are capped on 30 points and you have 45 then what does it really mean?
If they drop McKay and bring in Gilmore they’ll play with 32 points for the same side next year. Points won’t be an issue

Honestly spot on. It's a battle for 2nd place.
Come off it. They are beatable.
Montmorency need a forward line. They held bergs to 70 odd both finals but only scored 30-40 themselves allowing zero scoreboard pressure. They can change that with some improvement and recruits.
They only beat North and Boro by 30 odd not 130.
