I heard they Won’t let him go as they don’t have enough players in there 2s and are struggling for numbers..
Not getting paid, didn’t get much to move there in the first place apparently, as he went to them they never intended to recruit him…

I’m sure a decision he’s regretting stuck in the mud in a reserves team getting pumped every week

100% agree. Anyone who signs at a club should be there for the year to honour that contract. Not crack the sads 5 games in and try and move because you can’t get a gig in the ones.

Maybe Eltham should have enforced that with Jarvis who played in Diamond Creeks win after transferring 2 weeks ago.

You never quite know anyone’s position and what’s happening in there lives at that point in time though. Easy to say from the cheap seats he should stay but in a world where we are beginning to prioritise mental health in young men i think it’s a bit harsh to say the above without knowing the full picture.

ah the old AFL 'mental health'.....

please

just quit footy for a year then - and learn a lessen from the expereince, dont sign a contract, just play for a club.

Given the fact he already threatened the club that he’d quit if they don’t let him leave what does that tell you?

Sometimes egos aren’t everything in football and you have to suck chips and suck it up if you signed a contract you honour that contract. Good to see Bundoora sticking strong to that.

Having watched some of there reserves football games this year he hasn’t really done much or done anything special anyways so it makes sense to why he wouldn’t be getting a game.

How many players are a club allowed to sign to a contract? My belief was there is a cap on how many you can sign, unsure of the number tbh.

You'd think Epping would be going to Lower with a clear plan to intimidate the young side this weekend...

Its 2023 not 1990 wake up.
If you don't think one of the main focus points for Epping this week will be rough them up within the rules then you're kidding yourself.... Epping knows what it's like to scrap & fight for survival, doubt the young Bears will know what to expect

Haha you’ve got to be kidding.

Lower have plenty of older heads. Not to mention Epping are far from “intimidating”. Rough them up? Really.

If they know what it’s like to “scrap for survival” they wouldn’t have dropped for D1 to D3 and be gifted a spot back in D2.

Eltham V Watsonia - Watsonia have dropped well off after a hot start. Panther desperate to bounce back. Eltham 55 points

PH vs TT - PH starting to hit form and expect it to continue 21 points

DC vs St Mary’s - DC on top of the world defeating eltham. Will continue 44 points

SM Vs NP - close one but expect South Morang to continue their winning ways a 23

Lower vs Epping - Match of the day. Relegation on the line. Epping hit the scoreboard and lower far to good at home 28 points.

Looks like a typo mate. Missing South Morang

South Morang vs Northcore Park and Panton Hill vs Thomastown tomorrow will be great games. These are the four teams that will be fighting for the remaining three finals spots in my opinion.

Round 7 and what a great round of footy we have this week, there are only 2 games between 1st and 8th place and a relegation battle this week as well.

Panton Hill 8th vs Thomastown 5th. The redbacks are one of the form teams winning their last 3 game and if they can win and results go their way they can jump into the top 5 for the first time in season 2023. Duckworth and N Parks are big outs however they do have Keys, Freeman and O and S Parks all in good form. For the Thomo bears, Leonardis leads the coaches award and is getting great support from Natoli, Tang and Capeci. The consistency of the bears is still a worry, however think they might just have enough firepower. Thomastown by 11 points

Northcote Park 3rd vs Sth Morang 4th. A chance for either club to move a game clear in the top 3 and double chance race. The cougars have taken time to regroup back in division 2 while the lions have taken all before them since being promoted from division 3. G Moorcroft wound back the clock last week with 7 majors but it was D’Intinosante with BOG honours but he is an out tonorrow. Again like the game above, Ross of the coin but will go with the home team. Northcote Park by 9 points

Watsonia 6th vs Eltham 1st. The saints after starting the season well have only won 1 of their last 3 games and this week get an Eltham team on the rebound after their first loss last week. Maley is back for the panthers from Bullants VFL and just adds another string in the bow for Coach Bongetti to use. Eltham too classy and will win by 37 points

Diamond Creek 2nd vs St Marys 7th. The Creekers proved last week that the premiership is not a one horse race knocking over premiership favourite Eltham at Eltham. Booth get the maximum 10 coaches votes with Barro in good support. They have a settled group with no changes this week. The Burra went down to Panton Hill with only Antypas in the votes. Chance of an upset if the creekers don’t pay due respect to St Marys especially coming off a great win but Diamond Creek too strong by 27 points

Lower Plenty 9th vs Epping 10th, a round 7 relegation battle and it’s been a big fall for the Lower Bears in 2023. Sacco and Deslandes were in the votes last week but will need the likes of Alexander (9 goals), Porter and Flynn to produce big games. For Epping their form has been a bit better over the last two weeks but still along way off a win. Ranklin is their leading goal scorer with only 4 majors for the year. They will look to Lirosi, Judd and Hollow to help them get over the line. Two teams desperate for a win. At home will go with Lower Plenty by 19 points

Enjoy the footy

Wow Lower.

Thrashed by Epping and look to be hot favourites to be in D3 football next season .

Pressure will come at the club.
