Bit of a review:

OEC play 6th, 9th, 8th, 10th, 11th twice plus Laurimar
Kilmore play 8th,9th,10th, 11th twice
Laurimar dont play any of the bottom 3 twice and play the top 4 twice
Mernda dont play the top 2 twice
Epping play Top 2 twice plus laurimar, they get lalor twice
Ivanhoe play west and reservoir twice and then play all of the top 5 from 2025 aside from stars and also play laurimar
Kinglake play lalor twice but dont double up against west or reservoir
HWest double up against lalor, reservoir and dont play against stars, epping or laurimar twice
Lalor dont play stars, mernda, laurimar or ivanhoe twice
Rezza dont double up against laurimar, epping, mernda or kinglake
Stars get double ups against 3 of the bottom 4 teams and then double up against laurimar, eppping and mernda

Stars have a soft double up compared to Laurimar, Mernda and Epping. OEC and Kilmore also with great double ups and West avoid probably the top 3 teams twice.

Think them and Lalor played with 50 points but not 100% sure.

Mustangs results weren’t anywhere near as bad last year. But still won 1 game.

I’ll be interested to see what the league do. They’ve got enough points spare to be more than competitive next year regardless.

I suppose when you have been belted for a few seasons and risk not operating, then any step forward to be competitive helps them right now and that might be the first step to rebuilding the club. They will be VERY much improved with the players they have picked up. Well done I say.

Champ or Chump totally agree and hopefully for Reservoir sake it attracts some younger players to the club
They are then the players that stay for longer term. Be great for the Mustangs if those that have signed play for more than one season

Everyone from the Stable is looking forward to 2025.
The club is heading in the right direction, new committee who are dedicated to making the club successful and building viability. We know we are coming from a long way back, but reall the desire is to be competitive and really push those top 4/5 sides.

We look forward to seeing you in 2025 and meeting the other presidents and executives and building a great network of clubs.
