Is there a particular reason Div 3 doesn’t do the 18 rounds and only 16 now that there are 11 teams and not 9?
Do clubs get consulted by the league about the fixture with things like requests and how the fixture should work with an uneven amount of teams?

They do 18 rounds with 2 byes due to uneven numbers which mean they play 16 of the 18 rounds. Can’t have 18 rounds and 18 games played with uneven numbers
If it’s true that Nipper Marshall is going back to Bundoora it wasn’t a great signing for Mernda, big sign on fee for little on field return due to an unfortunate injury. I wonder if Nipper recommended Mernda you gun Joel Harris to Bundoora who has signed there for 2025.
Why they all leaving Mernda ? Do they need change at the Top?

Was a decent tap ruckman a few years back but a fair way below the top end rucks in this Div nowadays. Speaking of top end rucks, a little pub talk suggests that there may be another top end ruck entering this division.
Wow What is the problem at Mernda ? Already lost 2 quality players losing another which is a young gun wouldn’t be ideal at all

Josh Delaney head coach at avenel wouldnt be surprised to see a few head there too.
Just find it very interesting a team who was a kick away from a flag in 2023 and made a prelim this year have so many good players on the move
