By my count, Daicos has been his team's best player 7 times so far this season.

Heeney is 28 and Warner 23. Nick is 21.

Both may well be above Nick atm. But you gotta respect the fact that Nick is in that conversation.

This is also Nick's first season as a full time mid (he even spent a few games off half back still).

Another issue is he's kicking clearances and i50s to a forward line that has Harvey Harrison at full forward.

Quality melting right here but jokes aside, Daicos is a quality player obviously.

Remains to be seen if he has it in him to throw the team on his back and carry them to wins when the aging superstars retire and are replaced by no-name plodders.

If he can do that, he'll be worthy of being in the discussion for modern day GOAT.
