You are weird.
Mate, this is 2022. Get with it or fall behind.
I'd throw Selwood in the conversation too.The only player in competition for him in the best first year player I have ever seen is Chris Judd. Sam Walsh in the conversation too.
Out and out future A grade superstar.
Not so much shameful as poor planning if we want Nick’s F/S’s.TBH - the one thing that ND lacks is physicality but put that down to his frame #jet
Damn shame to see a lot of baby girls in the rooms after the game though?
Shameful!
Absolutely agree, Daicos cuts you up a million ways. His vision, deft touch and skills are Uber elite.Still getting nothing from the media, today was the first real time I heard Garry Lyon single him out and talk about how good he was.
Rowell and the jizz fest we saw in 2020 for the first 6 games, he had 26 touches once and kicked 6 goals 3 bags of 2.
Averaged a mark a game and had more tackles.
Daicos has averaged more disposals, marks, higher disposal efficiency and done it for longer.
Yeah they played different positions but what this kids doing in a winning team is freak worthy instead you'll have David King (yeah I hope you read this) bang on about a 13 possession game from Newcombe because clearly he has money on him.
Daicos dead set should be 1,30 for the Rising Star.
Well this post has not aged well…1. Martin
2. Ginnivan/ Daicos
3. JHF
What Martin’s doing is crazy from a first year player. For context his numbers across the board are better than any season JDG has had except 2018. It’s his to lose from here, but Daicos’ consistency and Ginnivan’s profile have them as the nominal front runners with the media, IMO.
JHF’s ability to find contested ball is keeping him in it so he either tires as the year progresses (because it’s hard for a 19yo to average 11cp over a full season) or he begins to get more easy ball to go with it as North improve (which they will) allowing him to bridge the gap.
I already trust him the most of perhaps any user on our entire team. His decision-making is excellent. As a young player you see him have a slow play at the HBF and could be forgiven for thinking he's just going to go long down the line OR believe he'd be due to stuff a kick up and turn it over.
Then he just hits a bloke standing on the boundary by himself 40m away.
I shook my head a couple of times yesterday. Kid is excellent.

Not to mention Fabulous Phil Carman!Absolutely. But Nicks first has been better
And Bucks and Pants were older too
I love how he uses his speed to give himself more time to assess his options and make a decision. Such a unique trait in a first year player.
Ginnivan can get lessons from Daicos. He rarely gets tackled, such is his awareness and agility, but when it's inevitable, he draws a high free kick just about every time.
Poor Nick was slung around the neck and spun 720° on the ground by a Ben Brown tackle. Many things I'd get tutored by Nick but not getting tackledGinnivan can get lessons from Daicos. Their lateral speed is just dumb. Once Nick gets strong through the core like Josh is now he will be supremely difficult to tackleJosh and Nick both have ridiculous agility.
Check out the way Josh changed direction when he had Oliver on his hammer for that last goal to Jamie.
Most players go straight, he went diagonal. It’s an unreal trait they have!
Lol turn it up, in two years time? We are saying that nowThe break after Queens Birthday comes at the right time
I reckon in 2 years we’ll be saying the Daicos boys will be one of the best Father and son combo’s for a while

That is a bloody big call..... I hope you're right, but you're talking GAJ levels.Great player and so good to see both of the D boys instead of just kicking long to a contest could drop the ball onto the player who was open.
I can see the comparisons to Pendles but ND will be better .
